Mar 20, 2025 · Mindy BrooksI cannot begin to thank the veterinarians, vet techs, and the entire staff at VCA Garden State Animal Hospital for the love and care they have shown my Tank over the last few years. Sadly, they had to help Tanky cross the Rainbow Bridge this week, but they did it with so much love. Everyone there is so caring and concerned, not just about the pets, but the pet parents left behind. I cannot express how grateful I am for you all. Thank you. Kathleen Brust
May 03, 2025 · Kathleen BrustI have been going to this animal hospital for over 10 years. They are organized, clean, friendly and professional. Usually, i just see which ever doctor is available since they are all good. But, yesterday I hit the JACKPOT for my miniature dachshund Brody because we were placed with the amazing Dr. Sarah Ball Garino for his annual visit. I was so touched by how kind, sweet and caring she was to my little best friend. I will specifically ask for her every time. By, the end of the visit instead of him hiding under my feet or in the corner shaking he was walking around the room like he owned the place. A+++ Dr. Ball thank you so much!
Mar 26, 2025 · Tina HeugesI brought my almost nine year old dog to this “hospital” two months ago when we moved here and my dog had run away while being dog sat and was found tied with another dog. I wish I had known they have a D minus from the better business bureau. She had never been spayed due to a heart murmur. Two months later she went to the vet for X-rays and blood work. There were two pups and the doctor said she would probably be ok as long as she delivered before Wednesday. I opted for a planned C-section on Tuesday. That night Daisy found a treat and ate it when she wasnt supposed to have food. She also had started having contractions. I called the hospital several times, but no one was there. They called me at 8 am to see where Daisy was and I told them about the food and that she had started labor. And I told them the doctor said she would need a c section if they weren’t born by Wednesday. They called me back five hours later saying they would not be available for ac section on Wednesday and to take her to an emergency vet RIGHT THEN or my Daisy and her puppies would be DEAD. FIVE HOURS LATER. It was not her Doctor but an office manager named Amanda with an infantilized voice. I asked to speak to her doctor and was told that would not happen because she was in an exam. So I said I didn’t mean this second, at the end of the day was fine. I don’t take medical advice from OFFICE MANAGERS. Not only did she refuse to have the doctor call me about her own patient, but continuously hung up on me. I kept calling back asking to speak to the doctor, or be supplied her license number in order to report her to the proper licensing agency and Amanda kept hanging up on me after telling me my dog and her puppies would die unless I had an emergency c section NOW. I never got a call from her doctor, I took her to another vet, she is NOT DYING, nor are her puppies. STAY AWAY if you love your pets.
Jul 01, 2025 · Diana AllenReally did not enjoy this vet visit. Veterinarian was extremely pushy with medication and then talked down to us extensively when we declined. Felt very much like those old doctors with absolutely no bedside manner and they don’t care if they’re rude. Fine if you’re okay with that but as a business but in a world where customer service is everything- that sucked. We will be taking our money elsewhere.
