It's designed to provide accessible, efficient, and professional vaccination services, making it simpler for busy New Yorkers to keep their dogs and cats healthy and protected.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic operates with a focused mission: to deliver core preventative health services, primarily vaccinations, in a streamlined and customer-friendly environment. It’s important to note that Vetco Vaccination Clinic is specifically geared towards preventative care and does not function as a full-service veterinary hospital. This specialization allows them to offer a focused range of services often at a more accessible price point, which is a significant benefit for many New York pet parents. For those seeking reliable, quick, and professional vaccination services without the need for comprehensive veterinary procedures, Vetco Vaccination Clinic on Utica Avenue stands out as a practical and trustworthy option.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic is conveniently located at 2343 Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11234, USA. This address places it in a well-trafficked and easily accessible part of Brooklyn, making it a convenient destination for pet owners throughout the borough and surrounding areas. Utica Avenue is a major thoroughfare, and the clinic's presence there ensures good connectivity. For New Yorkers relying on public transportation, various bus routes serve the Utica Avenue corridor, offering direct access from many parts of Brooklyn. While street parking might be available, it's always advisable to consider the urban environment when planning a visit. The clinic's location within a Petco store (a common model for Vetco Clinics) adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing pet parents to combine their vaccination visit with shopping for pet supplies. This integrated approach to pet care and retail streamlines errands for busy city residents, making essential preventative care more manageable and less time-consuming.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in a concentrated range of essential preventative veterinary services. While it's not a full-service animal hospital equipped for complex surgeries or extensive diagnostics, its offerings are crucial for maintaining your pet's baseline health and preventing common diseases. Based on the typical services provided by Vetco Vaccination Clinics, you can expect:
- Core and Non-Core Vaccinations: Comprehensive vaccination programs for dogs and cats, including essential shots like Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus (for dogs), Feline Leukemia, and Bordetella. These are administered by state-licensed veterinarians.
- Microchipping: Providing microchip implantation services to help ensure the safe return of lost pets, offering peace of mind to pet owners.
- Deworming: Offering deworming treatments for common intestinal parasites, particularly important for puppies and kittens.
- Heartworm Testing: Conducting heartworm tests, which are crucial for dogs, especially in areas where mosquitoes are prevalent.
- Flea and Tick Prevention: Availability of various preventative products to protect pets from external parasites.
- Basic Preventative Screenings: While not a full diagnostic lab, they may offer basic screenings in conjunction with vaccinations to identify potential issues early.
It is important for pet owners to understand that Vetco Vaccination Clinic's services are focused on preventative care. For any pet health concerns beyond vaccinations and basic preventative treatments – such as illnesses, injuries, chronic conditions, dental issues, or complex diagnostic needs – a full-service veterinary hospital or emergency clinic would be the appropriate choice. They typically will not vaccinate pets that have experienced a previous reaction to vaccinations, ensuring safety protocols are in place.

May 23, 2020 · Patricia AgbaegbuThe staff was very nice and professional. Went in to get my dog 🐶 vaccinated and didn't spend no time at all. Great staff
May 11, 2021 · Kelvin RobertsI came from far away. Due to heavy traffic. I arrived four minutes late. The doctor refused my appointment cuz he rushed to get off work. Doesn't it take you even five minutes to treat my dog? Especially when I was in a hurry to get there. He was very cold and said they get off work now. I can understand if I'm late a lot it's my problem. But it's only four minutes. Very impersonal and disappointing to this place. Btw Last time I came here and wait for 30 mins even with my appointment. Ridiculous
