Walking Paws Rehab Introduce
For pet owners in Colorado, our active and outdoor-oriented lifestyle often means our animal companions are right there with us, hiking trails, fetching balls, and exploring the beautiful scenery. But just like their human counterparts, pets can suffer from injuries, arthritis, and mobility issues that can slow them down. When traditional veterinary medicine has done all it can, and your furry family member still needs help to regain their stride, a specialized resource is required. In Boulder, Colorado, one place stands out for its expertise in helping pets get back on their paws: **Walking Paws Rehab**. This clinic is a dedicated center for pet physical therapy and rehabilitation, offering a compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough approach to improving your pet's mobility and quality of life.
Walking Paws Rehab is more than a simple vet office; it's a specialty practice focused entirely on injuries, pain management, and mobility ailments. For Colorado residents who consider their pets family, this clinic provides a vital service, offering hope and tangible progress for animals with orthopedic, neurologic, or soft tissue injuries. The team’s approach is collaborative and comprehensive, ensuring that every pet's treatment plan is customized to their unique needs and goals. For Colorado pet owners, especially those in the Boulder area, choosing Walking Paws Rehab is a decision to invest in a higher level of specialized care. The most compelling reason to choose them is their **singular focus on animal rehabilitation and physical therapy**. They are not a general practice that offers rehab as an add-on; this is their core mission and expertise. This specialization means they have the advanced equipment, training, and experience to handle complex cases, from neurological conditions to post-surgical recovery and chronic pain.
What truly sets them apart, however, is their personalized and compassionate approach. Unlike some high-volume clinics, they offer longer, therapist-led appointments that are tailored to your pet's needs each day. This ensures a calm and effective session where progress is continuously monitored. The team's collective knowledge and collaborative model—working closely with your primary veterinarian and each other—guarantees that your pet receives a truly comprehensive care plan. As one client notes, there is simply "no comparison" to other dog rehab places they've tried. For any Colorado resident seeking to help their beloved companion regain mobility, reduce pain, or simply age gracefully with more comfort, Walking Paws Rehab offers an unmatched combination of medical expertise and heartfelt dedication. It's a place where you can feel confident that your "furbaby" is in the best possible hands.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t express enough how incredible this place is. Been to a few other dog rehab places, and there’s no comparison. Walking paws is so accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Our pup had a brachial plexus injury at 6 months old. Now at 2 years old after non-stop complications - He’s not the best with other dogs and has noticeable anxiety, and a complicated orthopedic history. All of which makes handling him and seeing physical progress a heavy endeavor. Despite all that - the entire staff at Walking Paws is so patient, caring, encouraging - and they’re efforts have made a massive difference in our dogs progress, in a remarkably a short period of time. Can’t recommend them enough. Shout out to Courtney - she’s always engaged and a great listener/totally un-phased by our nut-case of dog that we love so much.
May 29 · Jacqueline SantulliWe love Walking Paws. Everyone is so friendly. Dr. Sarah has been fantastic with our furbaby Beauty. She is professional, listens to our questions, and very kind and patient. Love this place and everyone in it! Thank you!
May 18 · Judyann CummingsCouldn't be happier with our choice to bring our dog here for post TPLO surgery recovery. My only regret is not starting sooner. My dog has serious anxiety and the team at walking paws has been so patient with her and does everything they can to make her comfortable. They take time to make sure your pet is getting everything they need to recover. Between the home program provided by Walking Paws and the in office treatments, we've seen a considerable improvement in our dog in a short amount of time. It is pricey, but I've never walked out of a visit thinking it wasn't worth every penny. Would highly recommend Walking Paws.
March 21 · Melinda BlakeOur experience at Walking Paws has been amazing. The doctor’s and staff are absolutely incredible. They are so knowledgeable, kind, and caring. My 14 year old Golden Retriever loves coming here so much that he sometimes doesn’t want to leave. 😂 I know they are giving me more time with my boy with their thorough and caring work to make him as strong and pain free as possible. The facility itself is also unbelievable. It provides such a happy, calm and relaxed environment for you and your pet. I love everything about Walking Paws!
July 24 · Kristi FugateMy dog Frank hikes 13ers, and Walking Paws has been able to tailor his recovery plan and get him hiking again at the same level after each setback in his sport! Walking Paws has rehabilitated Frank through a CCL tear and TPLO surgery, an orthotic brace for joint stability, and actively manages his arthritis and general conditioning. At 8 years old now, Frank is hiking as hard as he ever has! I am so thankful for Walking Paws since they have been able to keep Frank romping up in the mountains!
