★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our dog, Sadie, had her first visit to Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital to have her teeth cleaned in July, 2025. We believe Dr. Christofferson, now retired, saved Sadie’s life by finding a stage 1 cancer (treatable) while Sadie was in having her teeth cleaned. The vets and all the staff at Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital are friendly, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. Sadie is a very nervous dog and the staff made her very comfortable. I would highly recommend Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking forthe right veterinarian for their pet(s). We have finally found a permanent vet for Sadie.
August 12 · Janet ManistaWe’ve been coming here for a few years now and absolutely love it! Staff are all very friendly and our dog always gets so excited when he sees we are pulling up to the office (I know, strange!). The doctors and staff have always taken great care of our dog, no matter what we’ve had to bring him in for, and we can tell everyone genuinely cares. They are also really easy to get a hold of by phone and I love that they have a text line too. So convenient!
August 04 · Francesca BoelterI am very happy we found WC Vet Hosp. We tried three other vets in the area before settling with them. Our two year old dog is fearful & reactive. He also has seasonal allergies. WC Vet Hospital focuses on what is best for the pet. They work with us to ease checking in and checking out. Dr Xanth El-Sayed spends time with our dog and has become his friend, which makes the visits much easier. I have found their recommendations to be in our best interest, not their bottom line, as I found elsewhere. Although vet costs are high, their charges were on the lower side as well. I highly recommend Dr Xanth El-Sayed and WC Vet Hospital.
April 24 · Cheryl O'TooleThe absolute best care for your pups. They have gotten us through an ACL surgery and cared for my aging mountain dog so that she could maintain the use of her back legs. I cannot say enough about their approach and full suite of options including acupuncture which we tried and let me tell you is so helpful for my 12 year old Swiss Bern mix. You never feel pressured and everyone there is so sweet and the offices are perfectly suited for 4 legged creatures. I would not take my pets anywhere else. Pic of Sierra at an acupuncture session with the incredible Beth.
April 09 · Julie BrooksAfter moving from Orange County to the Bay Area, we were in search of a new vet for our Ellie. Ellie tends to get nervous in vet situations, but at Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital, she was at ease the whole time. They let me stay with her through the entire exam and made her feel so comfortable.Sam and Dr. Xanth were absolutely wonderful!! They made Ellie feel special the entire time, and if it’s even possible, I don’t think she even realized she was getting examined. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Sam and Dr. Xanth!
