★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As a new resident to the area I have been trying to find a good vet for my 3 year old Westie named Teddy. After visiting this vet I can confidently say we will be back! We had a great experience here. All of the staff were professional, and efficient! The facilities are nice and suitable. The doctor that we saw was knowledgeable and friendly. I’m grateful to have found a vet that will work well for me and my dogs needs!
August 22 · Kayla FukaI have been a client and have brought all of my animals here all of my adult life and have had nothing but great service. From the front desk check-in, to check-out. I've seen both Dr. Sprague and Dr. Bennett, which are both wonderful vets. They are always so very caring, always willing to listen and answer all questions, and never seemed rushed. Thank you for the great service!
March 20 · Kelly JohnsonWe got a puppy and decided to try out West Michigan Vet… we have been LONG TIME customers of Mapleview in Holland, but have recently moved further north. I was shocked at how easy it was to schedule an appt online and took all of our puppies records with me. One of the techs came out and sat on the floor to make friends with Duke. It was a good visit and we have transferred records over for our five year old pup as well! They were very friendly and helpful (although our puppy didn’t take to all the efforts and offering of “treats” 😂)
May 09 · Deborah ShortI've never been treated so poorly as a patient any where. I've been bringing my animals here for 5+ years and have never been late to an appointment. This was the first time I was, I was exactly 5 minutes late, I know because I had my GPS on. I also called to let them know I would be no more than 5 minutes late. Once I walked in with my cat the receptionist was instantly rude when I mentioned his steroid shot (something he's gotten during a routine appointment before so I didn't think it much to add on) and then sent me to the waiting area. I continued to wait another 5 minutes before they came out for my cat. This is when something I've never experienced before happened.. they took my cat back by himself and never brought me to the exam room. Left me waiting in the lobby. Once they brought him back out to the lobby, Dr. Bennett held my 2 minute "appointment" briefing in the lobby, with other patients present.. to punish me for being 5 minutes late I'm assuming? Because they made sure to say that's why more than once. It was obvious what she was trying to do and I honestly had to use all my power not to lose my cool. Complaining how she didn't have time to spend on him now because I was late, yet she brought her next appointment in 10 minutes early because I was out of that building before my time was even up. I arrived at 1:35pm and was rushed out the door by 1:50pm as she brought her next appointment in. It was unnecessary, unprofessional and flat out shitty behavior. Avoid Dr. Amy Bennett.
August 04 · Shelby RobertsWe have received exemplary pet care from West Michigan Veterinarian Services since 1997. They have provided care throughout the lifespan of 10 pets in a genuinely caring and concerned manner. Nothing I can say will show enough appreciation to all the staff at WMVS, they have been GREAT! We continue to receive animal care for our current dog and will be lifelong patients with WMVS.
