★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- This vet clinic and all the staff is amazing. We are new to farming and have had two experiences we couldn’t handle on our own, we got the assistance we needed immediately at a beyond reasonable price. I honestly didn’t believe these type of “small town” feel places still existed. August 03 · Crystal Jordan
- I was with Dr. Lonna near the end of Charlie’s life, many years ago, outstanding. Then later Lady came along, Dr Lonna and then sometimes Dr. Jim, we’re just great with her. Now it’s Sunny and Cowgirl. We just saw Dr. Jim the other day. The service at the front counter is top notch, professional, the special care and doctoring that we get at this clinic is the best I could ever ask for. Sonny is a happy and full of life, yellow lab. He’s had a couple incidents, and I’ve had to call after hours; Doctor Lonna pulled us through, and I can’t be more grateful. Support your local vet. December 31 · James Penny
- We had an amazing experience here and Im so glad I found a vet that is willing to work with our dogs. I've had a dog that I've taken to several other vets and groomers because they say he is "aggressive" when he gets his nails trimmed and they were able to do it quickly and efficiently without him needing to be sedated which is such a blessing. So I've gone from spending $150 dollars for sedated nail trims to no sedation and a $20 dollar bill. July 08 · Rachel McMichael
- Dr. Jim and Lonna are the best!!! Dr. Lonna took a great deal of time to discuss our puppies issues we are having and showed us handling techniques to help. She answered all our questions and concerns and never makes us feel like she's in a hurry. Our pups welfare is her greatest concern. The entire staff is wonderful! April 17 · Tammi Schnetter
- Our sweet Paisley was having trouble with having her puppies. We called 3 times with questions and Dr Lonna and Rita-Kay was so kind and helpful. They called me back and told me to bring her in and Dr Jim took amazing care of her before, during and after surgery. Thank you to the Winterset Veterinary Staff for the great care Paisley received. Our animals become family and it is emotional when they are in trouble but when you leave them in great hands you worry a little less. April 23 · Andi Petersen
