Zarzamora Veterinary Clinic - James Gates DVM Reviews
Love this vet office. Dr. Gates always makes me feel seen as a pet parent. I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac when it comes to my pets, but him and his team always give me peace of mind and provide my babies with the best care. Mary at the front desk will work miracles to get you an appointment asap (which is lovely cause some offices are booked up months ahead). Overall, love this clinic and recommend it to anyone looking to receive quality pet care. :)
Mar 13, 2025 · Kassandra GonzalezLovely people, they took quick good care of our pupper and the pricing is great they aren't scalping for pet care and I think we can all appreciate that it goes a long way especially with the economy right now. They will be my babies primary care for good. Update: still great service and wonderful people my fur baby is now a little over 1 year old and he's been coming since I highly recommend this place.
Oct 10, 2024 · Austin BrauckmullerNever been there. I called to get info and whoever answered was just rude and annoyed right off the bat. It's 8am. What are you pissed at already? I asked how things work and if they do payment plans as I've never gone to vet clinic before in my life. I'm a semi new pet mom. Felt like she was talking down on me by sounding so annoyed and disgusted while telling me they are not a low income kind of place to be asking about payment plans. Didn't let me finish telling her what was wrong with my dog. She had questions but would cut me off before I could actually answer. Just her overall rude attitude and way of speaking to someone who's trying to get help for their baby made me know for a fact that I will not be going there. I hung up while she was in the middle of talking because no one needs energy like hers while seeking help for a sick pet. Feb 25, 2025 · Jennifer MartinezDr Gates is great. Took my cat, Baboo to get neutered. Everything went well. He's recovering well. The workers there are polite and caring. I'd recommend this veterinary clinic to all my friends and relatives.
Mar 16, 2025 · Emma HunterI'd like to start this review by saying I am not a current client of Zarzamora clinic. I called at approx 12:40PM on 4/1/25 to request whether the clinic offered discounts for rescue groups. The receptionist very coldly replied that "[they] don't do that" to which I replied asking if I could gather some preliminary pricing and information on commonly requested services (well Exam, rabies vaccine, etc.) prior to creating an account. The receptionist was incredibly rude and replied "No, not at this time" and promptly hung up on me. Needless to say we won't be a client any time soon regardless if their standard pricing is affordable because I cannot imagine having to speak to this receptionist or having our fosters speak with her to schedule appointments.
