Rainbow Boulevard is a major north-south artery, ensuring straightforward navigation for visitors from various parts of Las Vegas, including Summerlin, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and beyond. The suite number indicates it is part of a larger commercial complex, likely offering ample parking for customers. This accessibility is a key factor for individuals and families who wish to visit the store, spend time interacting with the puppies, and speak with staff about potential adoption. For Nevada locals considering bringing a new puppy into their home, the ease of reaching Diamond Pets ensures that the initial steps of meeting a potential furry family member are as convenient as possible. Diamond Pets, as a store specializing in puppies, offers various services centered around the sale and initial placement of young dogs to families in the Nevada region.
- Selection of Puppies: They provide a selection of puppies from various breeds. Customer reviews indicate a "great selection of puppies" and "variety of breeds available," ranging from popular larger breeds to smaller ones.
- Customer Assistance and Information: Staff are described as "incredibly knowledgeable and friendly," taking "the time to answer all my questions and helped me find the perfect puppy for my family." They aim to assist customers in selecting a puppy that might be a good fit.
- Initial Health Assessment: According to a positive review, each puppy "seemed healthy, well-socialized, and happy." It's implied that puppies undergo some form of health check before being presented for sale.
- Adoption Process: The store has an "adoption process" designed to ensure that "each puppy goes to a loving and suitable home." While the thoroughness of this process is praised by one reviewer, further public details on specific requirements or criteria for adoption are not readily available in the provided information.
- Facility Maintenance: The facility is described as "clean" and "well-maintained," indicating an environment designed to present the puppies well.
Diamond Pets exhibits several features and highlights that are frequently mentioned by customers, while also presenting certain aspects that prospective local buyers in Nevada should be fully aware of and consider carefully.
- Wide Variety of Puppy Breeds: A significant highlight is the "great selection of puppies" and the "variety of breeds available." This allows potential buyers to see different types of dogs in person, which can be a draw for those exploring various options.
- Healthy-Appearing and Well-Socialized Puppies (Initial Observation): Positive reviews indicate that puppies "seemed healthy, well-socialized, and happy," suggesting that the animals are cared for in a way that makes them appealing to visitors. The facility itself is described as "clean" and "well-maintained."
- Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff: Customers have praised the staff for being "incredibly knowledgeable and friendly," taking the time to "answer all my questions and helped me find the perfect puppy." This personal assistance can be very reassuring to new puppy owners.
- Thoroughness of Adoption Process (from one perspective): One reviewer was "particularly impressed with the thoroughness of their adoption process, ensuring that each puppy goes to a loving and suitable home." This suggests an effort to vet potential owners, though detailed specifics of this process are not publicly provided.
However, it is crucial for potential buyers in Nevada to be aware of significant concerns raised in other reviews, particularly regarding the store's business practices and long-term commitment to the puppies' welfare:
- "Puppy Mill" Allegations: A negative review explicitly labels the establishment as a "PUPPY MILL," which is a serious accusation. Puppy mills are known for prioritizing profit over animal welfare, often leading to poor living conditions for breeding dogs and health/behavioral issues in puppies due to inadequate care and early separation. While this is a customer's assertion, it aligns with common criticisms of pet stores that source from commercial breeders.
- Questionable Information and Inflated Prices: The review highlights that information from pet stores "is questionable" and that they "inflate the price a little bit as a third-party," charging around "$3000 for a dog." This suggests a lack of transparency regarding the source of the puppies and the pricing structure.
- Strict "All Sales Are Final" Policy and Lack of Return/Buy-Back Option: This is a major point of concern. The review explicitly states that Diamond Pets "will not take the dog back" even if a new owner realizes they "could not provide it the best possible care" or had an "impetuous" purchase. This policy contrasts sharply with ethical breeders and rescues who often require puppies to be returned to them if the owner can no longer care for them, demonstrating a commitment to the animal's lifelong well-being. The reviewer contrasts this with Petland's "better return policy." This lack of a return policy suggests a focus on the sale rather than the long-term welfare of the puppy, leading to situations where families are "left to do their due diligence and find a loving home for this little puppy on their own."

Diamond Pets, located at 101 S Rainbow Blvd Suite 24 in Las Vegas, presents a readily accessible option for locals across Nevada who are looking to purchase a puppy. Its location in a major commercial area of Las Vegas offers convenience for those seeking to browse a variety of breeds in person and interact with young dogs. For many prospective pet owners in the Nevada community, the ability to see and choose a puppy from a physical location, with staff available to answer immediate questions, is an attractive aspect. The positive experiences described by some customers, emphasizing the cleanliness of the facility and the helpfulness of the staff in finding a suitable puppy, suggest a pleasant initial interaction.
However, for locals in Nevada, it is crucial to consider the significant ethical and practical concerns raised by other customer feedback. The accusation of being a "PUPPY MILL" and the reported "all sales are final" policy, with no option for returning a puppy even if circumstances change, are critical points. Ethical breeders and reputable rescues often prioritize the lifelong welfare of their animals, often including provisions for return if the owner can no longer care for the pet. This stark contrast suggests that once a sale is made at Diamond Pets, the responsibility for the puppy's future falls entirely on the buyer, regardless of unforeseen circumstances. For Nevada residents committed to responsible pet ownership, it is highly recommended to conduct extensive research into the origin of any puppy, understand the full implications of a "no return" policy, and consider alternatives such as reputable local breeders who provide health guarantees and have return clauses in their contracts, or adopting from the numerous rescues and shelters in the region. While Diamond Pets offers a direct path to puppy ownership, locals should weigh the convenience against these significant ethical considerations to ensure they are making the most informed and responsible choice for their new furry family member.

Jan 11, 2025 · Vince TrilogyPUPPY MILlLDo your homework also, if you want a full breed dog, there are so many at home breeders that you can look into and research many times the information you get from a pet store is questionable. Also, they do inflate the price a little bit as a third-party because they get their dog from a breeder and then of course up charge when they’re selling it to the public in Las Vegas. So you’re gonna pay about $3000 for a dog and all sales are final so if for example, you may change your mind in 24 hours, they don’t care they’ve made a sale. They’ve got the dog out of their store even if the person that bought the dog decided that it was not in the best interest and they could not provide it the best possible care, but they will not take the dog back. This means that they really don’t care about the puppy itself once they’ve got the money. Also, there are so many rescues out there. I got my last dog from a rescue and it’s been the best experience. I did get one dog from Petland in Las Vegas over in Boca Park and they do have a better return policy kind of like a cooling off. If you don’t or can’t keep the dog, you can come back and negotiate I did keep my puppy that I got a pet land. However, my son and his girlfriend recently had issues at Diamond pets and now they are left to do their due diligence and find a loving home for this little puppy on their own because diamond pets will take the puppy back. My son realized that they were impetuous in purchasing the puppy, but ultimately even a reputable breeder will have it in their contract that if you are unable to care for the pup they definitely want that puppy returned back to them. Diamond pets doesn’t care what you do with the puppy once they have their money.
Apr 13, 2025 · Angelica ChavezJailyn (I hope I spelled your name correctly) was very informative, nice, and super helpful without being pushy. We bought a mini hippo (cocker spaniel/shar pei. He's super feisty, seems to be in excellent health, and the store was very clean.
Mar 16, 2025 · Aaron BrownBought a German Shepard puppy from Trevor at Diamond Pets .Awesome price and the owner Trevor is super down to earth and doesn’t pressure you and lets you take your time to figure out who you can bond with the best .We worked out a good deal and the dog came with a bunch of stuff and our German is AKC and Pedigree certified and he comes with all the shots as well as a good hospital if anything ever happens which gives me and my wife peace of mind . We priced dogs at Petland and they were triple the price and there dogs don’t come home with a welcome package like Trevor does at Diamond Pets
