Humane Veterinary Hospitals - Reading Reviews
They were very helpful and kind I had to put my Car down. He was only 8 yrs old. We didn't catch the diabetes in time cat kilo acidosis and slowly deteriorated from 15 lb to 6 lb in less than 3 months he stopped eating overnight and he was so thin I could not give him his insulin shots by the night when he was suffering too much. My heart is truly broken very grateful for the staff ❤️

Mar 20, 2025 · Jennifer SternerToday my dog Bambi got spayed and got her teeth cleaned and a couple teeth extracted the staff are amazing you can tell they love what they do….. Thank you guys again!
May 30, 2025 · Crystal MercedesThey were so kind to my fur baby and they operated on her the very next day. They worked out a payment plan for me that I could work with. My Princess is doing so well, she gets better every day. I'm very grateful for them. They even put in a microchip! Great place!
Dec 20, 2023 · Denise WilliamsTook dog there due to weight loss and discovered she has diabetes which we understand but getting the dog's prescription has been hell....They did not show us how to administer the med as we were originally told. Then they advised we could get the medication at WalMart - that is incorrect. We called and were told to attempt to get online so I contacted Chewy - Chewy contacted for the script and got the run around saying first that they did not have that dog on file - we were just there the day before. Then when corrected (they had my last name not my boyfriends at Chewy) Chewy submitted - we got ahold of the vet at 4 to pay the fee for 10$ for an online request (they didn't tell us this when we said we would do through Chewy) now it is after 6 and closed and Chewy tells us they did not get the script. This mean that we were there on Tuesday and it is now Friday and my dog still does not have her insulin. This was even after the doc asked us to come in earlier in the week than the original Friday appt because of the severity. There were other issues as well originally the vet tech couldn't get blood from the dog, almost dropped her off the table. We were charged for ear cleaning and it was barely wiped. The second time we saw that the ear was really well cleaned taking all the dirt/debris/wax out before filling it with antibiotics. We had to go back and forth multiple times to get some of the medications and we are still waiting on this insulin.
