Lou's Pet Shop Reviews
This is definitely my favorite pet shop. They also have small pets that other pet stores do not carry such as the sugar gliders. While looking around the pet shop we came across some really cute bunnies, the staff was very helpful told us all the information about the animal. The staff doesn’t just work here selling supplies and pets, they are actually very very knowledgeable about everything that they sell. After holding the bunny and thinking about it we came back the next day and bought a female Dutch bunny, before we even bought our new pet, they told us everything about it, and even sent us home with some paperwork about how to care for this pet before making our decision. They also informed us that if we wanna come back they do trim the bunnies nails for only $15!Update: The bunny is doing fantastic! She is so much fun, she loves little containers you can find a set on Amazon bunnies love them they like to stack them and flip them around and that’s what she’s doing in some of these pictures.

May 20, 2025 · Richard LemkeShout out to Lou’s pet shop for the wonderful customer service I’ve ever experienced. I recently inherited my grandfathers vehicle (he passed away in Florida) so my mom had the vehicle shipped from their to Michigan for me so I wouldn’t have to take time off work. A few things were sent home with the vehicle and one of those being a large anchor that my grandpa had outside of his house (he was a navy veteran). I was grabbing something from the back of the vehicle and moved the anchor a tad and there sat a baby anole with no tail :( Anyways, I kept it for the weekend and made it a small home because it felt destined, like that was my grandpa. After a long weekend of feeding him from a q tip I called around to see if anyone would take him in and such. Lou’s was so phenomenal, answered all of my questions, showed me around their reptile area and where he would be homes. Honestly, I never knew a place like this existed so close to home. You can hold some animals and reptiles, there was a huge tortoise that walks around and birds out flying around. Definitely a cool place! Lots of families with their kids. Thank you Lou’s for being respectful and so pleasant!
