Pet Supermarket Reviews
Eddie would not sell me a male beta fish because I didn't have a 10 gallon tank..Or a heater and filter. So she put him back in that little cup....?? Me and my grandaughter went to pet smart and got one instead.
Jul 04, 2025 · viki oUsually just go in and pick up what I need without issue, but I did my first online order and pick up at the store to get a discount. After a full day after the confirmation email, i hadn’t heard anything. Called the store only to be told to call customer service. Had to chat with a bot on their website to learn the order was cancelled. No notification and the charge is still on my account. This location is convenient, but might be time to get what i need on auto-order from somewhere else.
Mar 18, 2025 · JeremiahEmily L. has always been great every time I go! She remembers me and asks how my puppy is doing every time. She is extremely knowledgeable and always provides feedback on the products they sell. Highly recommended you go talk to her!
Jan 18, 2025 · Blaine HuckabyTried to get cat food before they closed, got there with 15 minutes to spare knowing exactly where i was going, but the people inside had already turned the lights off and locked the door. They closed that early and looked at me like there was something wrong with me for trying to get in during their "open hours"
Dec 23, 2024 · seth webberThis is a review for VIP Petcare since I can’t find a place to write a google review for it in particular. Sorry PetSupermarket, but you’re associated with it.In Nashville at Pet Supermarket on lebanon pike on sunday 4/13, my partner and his cat Ransom experienced seriously bad care that resulted in us having to put him down this morning. For context, the cat was 13, very underweight, likely had kidney disease, and arthritis. My partner took the cat there for a regular checkup.first, the vet tech weighed Ransom in the carrier and logged his weight as such without adjusting for the carrier weight. fine, sure. However, Dr. Pace pushed for one thing: the rabies vaccine.my partner declined the rabies vaccine and then was coerced into it “because of state law.” Dr. Teresa Pace recommended a full service vet for Ransom and said that the rabies vaccine was required for full service vets, which we found to not be the case today.sure, doing the rabies vaccine makes sense for most cats… but shouldn’t you consider the circumstances? Out of every treatment, why did the vet push that, out of all of the vaccines he may have needed? Wouldn’t you give him the least harsh vaccine, if anything? My partner came there for a regular checkup and the one thing he declined ended up being the only “service” he got.The rabies vaccine causes lethargy and decreased appetite, something Ransom did not need decreased, as again, he was very underweight due to age and kidney issues. They didn’t even speak to my partner about the side effects or the risks, they just pushed it. They didn’t even tell him what to expect. He had to look it up himself after it was already done, wondering why his cat was in such bad shape.Due to the pressure, my partner obliged. Dr. Pace even seemed very hesitant to do the vaccine as she was getting ready to administer it to Ransom, shaking her head…seems like she was second guessing herself because of his weight and condition but had already committed to the “state law” bit (yes I know that’s relevant but it’s also not that relevant bc the vet we went to today did not require it). After he had paid, the vet said “oh wait I forgot to check the heart and lungs” which…..definitely should’ve happened before the vaccine was administered?!?!When he got home, Ransom started declining within hours. He was stumbling around, did not eat ANYTHING or drink any water whatsoever, was lying in weird places, fell down while walking, and became really really lethargic. At first we thought this was natural, but when he continued to get worse after 24 hours, my partner scheduled a vet appointment for this morning. We did not expect to leave with a euthanized kitty.Sloppy work. Horrible experience. They were rushing my partner out of there 30 mins before they were scheduled to close, and now Ransom is buried in the yard.I acknowledge that we don’t know what would’ve happened if he got better care on Sunday; maybe we could have had him another few months or a year. What I do know is that my partner and Ransom were victims of veterinary negligence. Please, pet owners, be cautious of Dr. Teresa Pace and VIP Petcare.
