Petco Reviews
Do not take you dogs here to be groomed if they are not perfect angels. My family has had to separate instances with Destiny that have been horrible. For the first dog she claimed she couldn’t groom her because she was growling and trying to bite. When I picked her up she didn’t have nails cut and she didn’t even look bathed yet they wanted me to pay full price. The second dog, she initially said he was moving too much and trying to jump off the table. We come to pick him up and he looks the same as when we brought him besides he now has uneven hair because she stopped grooming him. The second time we spoke with the manager told him what happened. He called her over and she started to blatantly lie right in from of his saying she called saying he was trying to bite her when she never said that when she called us. Neither dog is violet or bites, yet she claims that they tried to bite her. The manager was reluctant to reimburse us and only took off a portion of the service. We will no longer be giving Petco our business at all because of how unhappy we are with the professionalism and how they handled the situation. Mind you these instances with two separate dogs within the same family was a year apart. So she’s still working there with no issue. We also saw another dog that was partially groomed when we picked up the second dog recently. This is happening too often and it is unacceptable. If you can’t actually groom dogs, don’t call yourself a groomer, period. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. If you picked up your dog and they looked like this after a groom what would you do? I added photos from his previous grooming for reference.
Jul 03, 2025 · Khayleia FoyThis review is not for Petco. It is for an Organization called Cat Habitat located inside the store. Cat Habitat is a perfect place to adopt a cat or kitten! I did, and we all still love our cat, Moon after a few years of having her. 😸 This is a non profit organization ran by our Wonder Woman, Char! She does an amazing job and everything comes out of her pocket to make sure these babies are well taken care of. So when you see the adoption fee, REMEMBER, Char paid to fix them, deworm them, she paid to microchip them, she paid for their food and any other necessities they still need. She's not making a dime off of the adoption. Your adoption fee goes right back to her so she can bring in a new cat who needs the same love and care as the one you adopted. Highly recommend!

Mar 06, 2025 · Jesus SerranoI visit this location since it’s the nearest to home however, today was rhetorical worse experience.I went in there attempting to pick up an online order with my dog. I’m standing at the cashiers and staff comes around the corner bumping into my dog. My dog reacted and reached for her oversized shirt. I immediately apologize however she right away was upset and asked me to leave. Before picking up I walked around the store for about 20mins. My dog was not aggressive to others and on his leash he was wearing a message “I need space” since he is training. My daughter waited for the order however the staff was making negative comments about my dog to the other staff and customers.I was immediately asked to leave however staff did not realize my dog only reacted to her behavior. I always take my dog and never have I had such an incident like this one.Staff needs to take a step back and replay that footage to see she bumped into my dog and ignored the message on his leash.
Feb 10, 2025 · MariI love this petco. And it has everything to do with their staff. Every time I go in it's a pleasant experience. But today I saw some amazing work. I was waiting to be checked out and saw one of the groomers get bit very badly by a husky. She handled it so well and just pet the dog and reassured him. And I mean it was a bad bite. She did amazing and deserved some recognition.
