Petco Reviews
Very Disappointed with Grooming ServiceI took my puppy to the Petco at 2350 Lincoln Hwy E #600 in Lancaster for a bath, haircut, nail trim, and buff. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We showed the groomer, Brinna, a clear photo of the cut we wanted, but she ignored our request and shaved our puppy way too close to the skin. When we picked him up, not only was the haircut completely wrong, but he still smelled bad and we were told his skin was irritated — something that wasn’t an issue when we dropped him off.To make matters worse, I called to speak with a manager and was told I would get a call back. That never happened. The lack of professionalism and care is unacceptable. We trusted them with our pet and were let down across the board. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this location to anyone who truly cares about their pet’s well-being.
Apr 20, 2025 · Albert MorrisThe girl manager with the glasses is so rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I went to make a purchase and she said she couldn’t sell it to because it was expired and then we looked and all the items were expired and I said awww that’s such and inconvenience and she took it personal and began to try and argue with me in a rude manner. I told her it wasn’t anything against her and she proceeded to be rude to me and even called me “Dog” I’m a grown 37 year old woman and have never been disrespected like that be. I’m disappointed that this young lady still is working in a customer service management position. If you go to this store do not check out with her: I’m calling this afternoon to speak with Ray the head manager.

May 21, 2025 · Anthony ColonI am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the experience I had at your 2350 Lincoln HWY East STE 600 Lancaster PA 17602 on 1/13/2025. I had scheduled an appointment for my puppy to be bathed at 2:30 PM. Following your guidelines, I dropped him off at 2:00 PM. However, when I returned around 3:40 PM to check on him—after not receiving any update—I was disheartened to find that he was still in a kennel and his bath had not even started. When I inquired about the delay, I was informed that the manager would complete his bath by 5:00 PM. I noticed that the manager was still working on the same dog they had when I dropped my puppy off. There were two groomers on staff—the manager and another employee—but the second groomer declined to work on my puppy, stating that she had already completed six dogs that day. This experience was both unprofessional and highly inconvenient. If an appointment is scheduled for a specific time, I expect my pet to be attended to at or near that time. As a professional hairdresser, I understand that services like grooming can take time, and I always ensure my schedule allows for the necessary attention to each client without overlapping appointments. I would expect the same level of care and planning from your team.If grooming services run behind schedule or a groomer is overbooked, the online scheduling system should reflect this by blocking the necessary time. This adjustment would prevent customers from experiencing unnecessary delays and frustration.I chose Petco for your reputation and the care you promise for our beloved pets. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. I kindly request an explanation and would appreciate steps being taken to ensure this does not happen to other customers in the future. I also believe an apology and appropriate resolution are warranted for the inconvenience caused.
