The Local Fish Store Reviews
This place is great. For starters I loved being greeted by their dog. So friendly. And their sphinx is great too! Changed my opinion of those cats. But the people that work there are very knowledgeable about what they do. Would definitely recommend.
Jan 29, 2025 · Cody BabosAmazing coral selection! Scott is very knowledgeable and offers a lot of top notch advice in reef tanks. I was in acropora heaven. Loved this store!
May 04, 2025 · Antonio RaigozaWonderful place. Extremely experienced staff, friendly, knowledgeable. Great selection of plants and fish. Fresh water and salt water. Lots of coral.
May 11, 2025 · Gregory LoeI am not an aquarium hobbyist but I found myself in the position of having to disassemble multiple tanks that were inherited. I walked into the Local Fish Store hoping to get some guidance about how to proceed. To my great relief they told me that they provided that service. They did such an amazing job and were so pleasant and reassuring the whole time they were there. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you LFS.
Mar 28, 2025 · Lisa KaiharaAwful attitude. They were detached and bored, and seemed annoyed by questions from customers. Also had their kid with them and were both so preoccupied with him that they gave me a dirty look for coming up to the counter to check out. Unbelievable! It’s fine if you have to bring your child to work, but don’t take your irritation out on your customers!!!I asked some questions about a tank I am working on and the girl acted like I was the biggest idiot in the world. The customer service was nonexistent. I even tried to purchase red root floaters from them, but it was Salvinia which was incorrectly labeled. Overall, these people are rude, ignorant and disrespectful. I will not be coming back here.I’m really sad. I thought I had found a great store. Unfortunately I guess not.
