June 28 · Levi MillerThis review is for my overall experience when I took Gigi there, and mainly for the treatment received from Dr. Granja Segovia. On my 3rd check up: She did not review Gigi’s record, A veterinarian telling me I “never bought” meds that she should see in Gigi’s chart is inexcusable. She did not offer any advise of home care or fever management tips, but suggested hospitalization I left with zero guidance on combining Clavamox with Doxycycline or the eye ointment, and no clear monitoring plan. The fragmented, contradictory treatment over three visits left me paying for multiple meds, and an exhausted, still‑sick cat. My poor Gigi, vets are supposed to be empathic and listen to the concerns to provide the best guidance and correctly diagnose animals in need. This is the history:On June 27, 2025 I brought my 1‑year‑old cat, Gigi, in for a swollen, draining eye (only left eye). Dr. Leslie Garibay diagnosed an infected scratch, prescribed Tobramycin eyedrops (4×/day for 2 weeks) and Doxycycline (not in stock) was available until July 1st for pick up, plus a 3‑day oral tablet.By June 30 Gigi’s eye was redder, so I called the clinic staff because I was at work and they told me to cut the drops in half to 2×/day (half of the first dosis).July 2 re‑check (both eyes were now infected) a different vet, Dr. Pratt, suspected a viral infection, stopped all prior meds, and started Neo/Poly/Dex ointment, Viralys, and Purina Pro probiotics—a complete 180° from the first plan. She’s the vet I met the first time I found this clinic for my kittens and I loved the way she showed she actually cared for my babies. That’s why I came back, I felt my cats were safe. Her treatment was the only one that got Gigi a bit better compared to how she was at the 1st week. Even thought she hasn’t healed completely. After five more days Gigi was lethargic, eating less, I wanted to ask how long would it take for her to get better or if it was normal. On July 10 I returned for a third visit/check up and saw Dr. Segovia. Despite my detailed history (antibiotics purchased, medication changes, etc), Dr. Segovia did not review full Gigi’s record—she insisted I had never received prior oral antibiotics until I corrected her even though I had already shared my concerns and history with her since minute 1.She did not offer any home care or fever management tips, but suggested hospitalization without outlining costs or benefits. It just seemed like she didn’t followed through from past visit or add any additional advice to what Dr, Pratt prescribed.Segovia Prescribed yet another antibiotic (Clavamox) with no explanation of why it would work other than just say because is all medicines they had to prescribe. The only way for her to give me the bare minimum information was I asked and I did, her response was that the antibiotic was stronger than the previous medications and kept saying she wasn’t sure if it was viral or not at the end. After me asking for more information she said lab would be recommended. She had already a rude attitude towards me. Just for asking?I left with zero guidance on combining Clavamox with Doxycycline or the eye ointment, and no clear monitoring plan. The fragmented, contradictory treatment over three visits left me paying for multiple meds, repeat exams, and an exhausted, still‑sick cat. What bothered me the most is that my concerns were never heard during my last visit, I told the vet I felt that Gigi had gone worse after the 1st prescriptions and asked what should I do but opposite to what Dr. Pratt did which was give me a solution, Dr. Segovia only insisted that I needed to hospitalize Gigi or take her every day for check ups?, no medicine explanations, no guidance? Her lack of touch and professionalism left me very disappointed because I had such a good impression about this clinic and personnel. The only good thing about my last visit was the tech that was with this vet, she was the only one who seemed to care and listen to what Gigi had. She was very nice and I’m glad there’s people like that in this profession.
July 11 · Liz EWonderful experience through. I called worried about my cat that was bleeding from his tail that he kept attacking. The front desk lady that answered the call was patient and answered all the questions I asked. They got my baby in the same day and i was even able to drop him off early for his appointment. The front desk lady called me to explain to me what was recommended for my cat’s injury and went over the prices before anything was done. By the end of the day I was able to pick my baby up and I was given clear instructions to follow. I highly recommend coming here with your fur babies.
April 18 · Esmeralda HernandezThey did a fantastic job with my boys. My youngest has social anxiety and growled at the first vet I took him to but loved this team. Thank you for taking such great care of them!
