Another Chance Sanctuary Reviews
Don't believe all the BS hatred you read about Dr. Laurie Hirt at this sanctuary. Anyone can "spin" (manipulate) the facts. I visited her sanctuary multiple times during the past 5 years and never saw one dead animal nor any abuse / neglect on her part. Of course, many of the animals she rescued were likely abused or neglected before she was kind enough to give them refuge at her sanctuary. Please give this hard-working 71-year-old veterinarian the benefit of the doubt. I saw and heard her passion for helping humans and animals. It's easy for someone to judge a dedicated animal rescuer if he or she is not doing even 50% of the humanitarian work she did for decades. Dr. Hirt probably helped hundreds and hundreds of animals at her sanctuary.
Apr 28, 2025 · WereAll AnimalsShe really is a vet who cares about the animals she treats. You don't have to sell the farm to take care of your pet. She is beyond fair in her pricing. Even though she is now closed or in the process of closing, I wish her all the best during her retirement. It was truly heartwarming to have met someone with such compassion for animals.SincerelyKathy and Feline Tabitha
