Jun 17, 2025 · PJ KrotzI am so thankful for Dr. Maher and the Atlantic Equine team. They are the best of the best. I have known Dr. Maher for over 10 years and he has always provided the best care for my horses. He is available at all hours of the day and will drop anything he’s doing to help out. In May my horse had a horrible shoulder injury and Dr. Maher and his team provided exceptional care and my horse had a full recovery and was quickly back to work. If you want your horse to receive exceptional care, you won’t be disappointed choosing Atlantic Equine.
Dec 23, 2018 · Courtney MurphyAtlantic Equine is the by far the best vet clinic in the area. Dr. Maher has treated many complicated cases for us and always goes above and beyond to lay out all options for us to make the most informed choices. He is always available to answer questions at any hour of the day. It is so refreshing to work with a clinic that gives you direct access to your vet. I would highly recommend Dr Maher and his associates to anyone looking for top of the line care for their horses.
Dec 23, 2018 · Kathleen DixonThank you Dr. Maher and Atlantic Equine for taking care of our horses. I always feel confident we get the best care for even the hardest cases. The systematic approach of finding the root of a problem and also being able to ask about the best course of action. To be made aware of the pros/cons and to be able to make informed decisions. Sometimes they are not the easiest and it is good to have a staff with the knowledge base that Atlantic Equine offers. Dr. Maher for lameness , great eye and the patience to deal with harder or sometimes older horses that have more then one thing going on . Making sure when looking at horses for purchase that we are aware of what the findings are, but also consider the clinical evaluation. With how much horses cost to buy and maintain it is better to be safe then sorry, Dr Kate Britton who keeps her cool even when a not so pleasant experiences arise, Dr. Bartol who can help with internal medicine and the general health. The vet tech's always have a smile and make you feel comfortable to trust them with your horse. I always feel we are in confident capable hands.
