Baldwin City Companion Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Baldwin City, Lawrence, and the surrounding communities of Douglas County, **Baldwin City Companion Animal Hospital** serves as a cornerstone of local veterinary health. Established in 1992, the clinic has a long-standing history of commitment to animal welfare, offering a dedicated range of services primarily for **Cats And Dogs**, while also extending care to **Large Animal** patients through convenient **Mobile Services**. The philosophy of the hospital, owned and operated by Dr. Timothy J. Jones, is to treat every animal as a cherished companion, striving to provide the highest quality of care to keep pets healthy and happy.
The veterinary practice focuses heavily on preventive medicine, recognizing that routine care is key to a long and vibrant life for your pets. Services range from essential **Exams & Vaccinations** to thorough **Comprehensive Physical Exam** appointments designed to catch health issues early. The clinic understands the importance of technology and convenience for today’s pet owners, maintaining both an **In-House Pharmacy** for immediate prescription fulfillment and an extensive **Online Pharmacy** that allows clients to order medications, prescription food, and supplies for delivery right to their Kansas home. This dual pharmacy access ensures continuous and safe access to vital supplies.
Beyond routine wellness, the hospital is well-equipped for necessary medical interventions. The team performs routine **Small Animal Surgery** procedures, ensuring your pet is in trusted hands should they require an operation. Additionally, they place a strong emphasis on preventative health measures like **Homeagain Microchipping**, offering a **Permanent ID** solution that is critical for reuniting lost pets with their families in the Baldwin City area. They are also a local resource for pet registration, offering the sale of **City Tags** directly at the clinic for local compliance.
While the practice is rooted in companion animal care, its provision of **Large Animal Mobile Services** is a significant feature for the rural Kansas clientele. This accessibility allows veterinarians to travel to farms and properties, providing care for horses, cattle, and other large animals that cannot easily be transported. This mixed-animal capability demonstrates their commitment to supporting the diverse agricultural and pet-owning community that defines this region of Kansas.
Client testimonials often highlight the dedication of Dr. Tim and his staff, noting instances where the team has "stayed late to save our dog" during a medical emergency, showcasing a profound commitment that goes the extra mile for pet safety. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Care has quite literally gone to the dogs. My family and I have been clients for over 20 years and with a new Doctor on board clinic and staff no longer make animal nor clientele a priority. Sickens me to see how poorly animals and long time loyal clients are being treated like yesterday’s garbage.Once highly recommended but not anymore. Take your babies to somewhere you highly trust who cares as much as you do. June 27 · Krystyna Works
- Dr Tim and his staff are great and go the extra mile for your pets. Our dog had a recent medical emergency and he and the staff stayed late to save our dog. We are grateful. Thank you. July 27 · Todd Bradford
- My poor puppy has been itching and scratching herself nonstop. I have taken her to 3 different vets, 3 visits to the Dermatologist for animals. Nothing was soothing her. Her skin was redder than normally and she wouldn't stop scratching herself. I had a friend who recommended me to go see Dr. Jones. He spent quality time with my puppy and he didn't rush around, saying well it could be this or that, this man, DID NOT play any games with her or myself when it came to her health. He told me exactly what I needed to hear and I felt relief after I left his office. Even my puppy got relief and when he said call me Monday and tell me the itching and scratching had stop; he was right on the money. By Monday she had stopped scratching and itching. He definitely works with God. I will be returning to him in September for a recheck on my pup.. His staff is warm and welcoming as well. I will definitely recommend Dr Jones and his staff. Thanks for helping with Gracie! May 06 · Chelle Moore (Moonie Brat)
- Dr. Jones saved my best friends life, Cash, 6 years ago. He was diagnosed as diabetic. He gets 2 insulin shots a day and doing great. Thank you very much. February 03 · Bill Hadl
- I brought my cat into CAH, and Dr. Jones and his team went above and beyond. They were so calm and compassionate with my cat, while explaining everything in full-detail to me so that I wasn’t left in the dark. I left feeling relieved and confident that my cat would be okay, and that’s all I could ever ask for ❤️ You can tell this team loves what they do, so please give them a visit if you’ve been thinking about it!
