Piedmont Equine Practice Reviews
I wouldn’t take my horses anywhere else. They have done everything from a farm call to do a lameness check on my thoroughbred to a melanoma removal on our senior welsh pony in their clinic. The vet who discovered the melanomas (Dr.Aksten) personally texted me after surgery was complete just so I knew our little guy was up and in recovery. Dr. Bolam did the surgery and took off as much as she could to make sure our boy, Max, could live a more comfortable life.My daughters and I couldn’t be anymore happy with how quickly they got us in for surgery and how caring they have been during the whole situation. Not to mention, they have the most gorgeous barn/clinic and the entire staff if so professional.THANK YOU ALL!
Apr 18, 2024 · Emi LeakeWonderful experience. Dr. Verghis was very honest about what was going on with my horse and very compassionate.
May 30, 2025 · Abbie BeahmWe used Piedmont Equine for an OCD lesion surgery and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our mare had solid care the entire time she was there and the surgery was successful. Dr. Lynch was extremely easy to communicate with and we felt more than comfortable leaving her in his hands for this. I don't believe he's full time with Piedmont but he's excellent and if anyone needs a surgeon, I recommend him! Their administrative support side were lovely and very easy to work with to coordinate everything and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable!
Aug 16, 2024 · Alanna HolsteinI have been a loyal Piedmont customer since the early days. They provide excellent care, are solutions oriented, and care about the horses. They have a lot of expertise internally, which makes them virtually a one-stop-shop. My most recent experience is having them quarantine a mare for me and she is doing well with their quarantine set up. Would recommend.
