★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I bring both my mini poodles here, a 10yr old and 7mo old. We all love Dr. Hahn! From vaccines and wellness exams to dental cleanings, she and the team here at West Linn have always been great!
April 22 · Trixie SugayI was not an established client when I frantically drove my little Peanut to the West Linn Banfield on a Saturday morning because she was in distress and my regular vet was closed. At first the receptionist tried to send me to an emergency clinic further away, but the vet tech must have heard me panicking in the lobby and came out. He took one look at my little girl and went to the back. Almost immediately, the vet came out and took her from me.They dropped everything and spent two hours trying to save my girl. Unfortunately, it got to the point where I had to make the tough call to let her go.The procedure was explained in detail to me, and my little Peanut peacefully passed while laying in my lap.It was the worst experience of my life, but I am so grateful for the support and caring I recieved. I wish I could remember the name of the vet and the vet tech so I could call them out by name. They were amazing, caring, and so supportive during this tragedy.
June 30 · Jody AmmermanIt's Sunday on a 3-day weekend and wouldn't you know it my dog needs to be seen by a vet ASAP. I was able to get her an appointment for tomorrow (Memorial Day) at the lake Oswego location They called me back and I was told that West Linn Banfield could see my pup today. I was greeted with a very friendly and welcoming "hello" the moment we walked into the the to the clinic. There was no one in the clinic except for me and my pup. The staff were incredible! They were amazing with my with my pup and thoroughly explained in great detail what I needed to know about my dog's ailment. My dog is a rescue and can be weary and timid at times. The staff at Banfield West Linn office had my pup literally eating out of their hands in no time. They practiced trauma informed care with her and honed right into her body language and treated her how she needed to be treated. It was very important for them to make my dog's first visit with them joyful, stress-free, and filling (from all the treats they gave her). The entire visit was unlike any I have experience before plus there is a coupon to get your new patient, first office visit exam at no charge. I am so thankful I did not panic and take her to an emergency hospital that would have broke my bank account. My dog left happy and so did I!
May 25 · Kathy StrobehnWe have been going to Banfield for a few years now. While our cat’s doc was really sweet and responsive, the criminal nature of the pricing policies at Banfield is insane. We will no longer be going there for our other animals after we brought our cat to be put down after a rough fight with thyroid disease, Banfield tried to charge us over $500 for the appointment. They should be ashamed of themselves. Even the staff was upset about the price and we were able to find a different approach. But what kind of business would take advantage of people at the hardest stage of being a pet parent, when they are about to say goodbye to their beloved? It’s criminal. Avoid them at all costs.
July 12 · Courtney BlaskowerWe came here for about 5 years for our generally healthy dog and will be finding care elsewhere now. The place is a business FIRST. Initially we were happy coming here to see Dr. Beyers but over the last two years things have changed. While I believe their vets, assistants and tech truly do care about animals they also care about profit more. Their practices are scammy I.e., requiring multiple appointments so conveniently they make more money, continuously asking about/pitching subscriptions to heartworm meds even though we’ve had a subscription WITH THEM for all 5 years. They’re constantly pitching their wellness plan which really impedes client relationships and trust. You can’t ask a simple question about your pet or care without them either suggesting they do testing (aka $$) and/or them pitching their wellness plan. Every opportunity they see a potential for more profit, they’ll take it even if it means putting client relationships and trust at risk.
