★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our dogs and cat love the staff and they are always so kind and friendly. The corporate operations person needs to plan a remodel of the waiting areas. So nasty and gross, but this isn’t any reflection of the staff. It’s so outdated and dirty. Relocate or remodel.
August 06 · That OneThey really have genuine feelings for my cats. They don't seem stressed out or anything when they get home! I would recommend Banfield over any other clinic.
April 05 · Kristena FrickMy cat wasn’t eating, so I took him to Banfield on March 18, 2025. The staff was friendly and performed bloodwork and physical tests. However, the doctor couldn’t find any issues with him. I mentioned that he used to have asthma, and the doctor thought that could be a problem, so she prescribed two medications for him. When I was at the office, they presented me with two payment options. The first option was to pay in full, which included a “first visits free” discount of around $240-$250.The second option was wellness plans. Since I had a follow-up checkup scheduled for next week, the doctor recommended the wellness plan. I ended up paying $88, which included the medication costs and the first month’s plan fee.The next day, after taking medication, he was unable to walk or stand. I called Banfield, and the doctor confirmed that the medication might be the cause. Doctor advised us to reduce the dosage. On March 21st, he still wasn’t sitting or standing upright, and his breathing was unusual. So, I called Banfield again, but they informed me that they don’t specialize in treating breathing issues. Consequently, they recommended that we visit a veterinary medical center for further evaluation. We took him to MSU, and they immediately noticed something amiss with him. They informed us that he had fluid in his lungs. I was shocked, but more infuriated because doctors from Banfield had assured us that she hadn’t heard anything unusual from him that day. Even front desk gentleman noticed he is not breathing right.According to the veterinary medical center, he must be suffering for a while. If they examine him more thoroughly, we could take him in sooner. Unfortunately, he was not stable enough to be taken in there, and we had to let him go..Now, my beloved cat has passed away. I was attempting to cancel my subscription, and the customer service representative informed me that I still had a balance of approximately $400. I was perplexed by the sudden increase in my bill, which had gone from $250 to $400.Banfield’s office informed me that they lack any information except the amount I paid. However, their customer service keeps providing me with incorrect numbers and charging me the medication fee again in my total. They seem unwilling to listen to my concerns and simply go through the number she sees and repeatedly ask if I’m going to pay in full.I can’t help but feel that your company is solely focused on making money from clients. Despite paying $330, I am deeply disappointed and will never return again.
April 08 · Gemma HernandezMY 9LB. 11 YEAR OLD CHIHUAHUA WENT IN FOR WELLNESS CHECK. SHE WAS GIVEN FLEA,TICK, MOSQUITO PREVENTION, ROUNDWORMS HOOKWORMS,RABIES,DAPP,LEPTO& LYME. That night she vomited in bed. Next day vomited 3 more times & the next night she vomited again. She hadn't eaten anything and would not take her epilepsy medicine. She started showing signs of her epilepsy the next day after exam. I had to take her to another vet and the cost was $581.00. She got medicines to stop vomiting. This continued for a total of 4 days. I thought I was going to lose her. I was devastated. I immediately canceled my plan and will not return to Banfield to even make a purchase. The vet should NOT of given all those meds at once with her age and epilepsy. PLEASE BEWARE AND BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE USING THIS PARTICULAR VET.
October 17 · Debby J DavisVery quick and professional. They took care of my dog while I shopped around for pet supplies.
