Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
I would give ZERO stars for the front desk staff who are extremely rude and unhelpful. I’ve had my dogs on this plan for 12 years. In the last year, I’ve felt so scammed but what’s included and what’s not included in their plans. I feel scammed every time I bring them in. They’ll tell you oh one of these tests is included but you’ve already used it and then say oh well actually it wasn’t used it just isn’t included in the plan you selected. Nothing is explained clearly. I was told under the puppy plan, everything for the first year is included but now she’s due for another vaccine because they gave her the “included” one a month early! I’ve been trying to cancel my $70/month plan for hours. Nobody can do it at the hospital, the number I was given put me on a 15 minute wait only to hang up on me, the text service said they can’t do it because the hospital left her file open and they need to close it at the location and you can’t do it online!! I’ve never had such an issue trying to cancel an auto renew policy. It’s ridiculous. I also tried to call them 5 times 20 mins before close yesterday to close the file and nobody answered. Why have your hours posted if you’re not going to be available??
May 19, 2025 · Emily EdwardsThis location has been the absolute best for my fluffy kid! Went to another location (Reston) and it was an absolute nightmare! This location is AWESOME. Front front desk all the way back to Dr. Dolese and tech Sam… absolutely WONDERFUL! The other location misdiagnosed my puppy twice amongst multiple other issues. Dr. Dolese is just incredible. She was friendly, knowledgeable, dedicated and gave me the patience and time I needed after the going to the other location. Thank you to the entire team for truly caring. You ALL ROCK!
Jun 01, 2025 · Mimi zStill waiting for a call back from the Dr. I am a regular customer. Now that has changed. No call email or notification of any kind. They're quick to bill you but not reply back to answer my questions. Im done
Jul 02, 2025 · DUANE BRAGGI would recommend Banfield to care of their pets. Very professional and caring. Treats my two dogs like they are part of their family. The vets are so nice and explains everything to you. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable.
Apr 17, 2024 · Margaret BrownI would like to share my experience at this location about todays visit with my 5 months old mini golden doodle. Leaving a 2 stars review because the Veterinarian: Dr. Oltjen was incredibly amazing. The front desk was not good at all and beyond disorganized. The manager was extremely rude and impatient while me and my husband asked questions about the wellness plan for our puppy. Also, extremely rude when we asked to see the breakdown of the charges for today’s visit before we paid. We ended up signing up for the plan only because the doctor was AMAZING! We will try again at this location because we hope to see the same doctor otherwise we would prefer to go to a different location.UPDATE: Ladie Bug had her spaying surgery with Dr.Levi Gardner and he did amazing. We spoke over the phone before I went to pick her up and he explained everything with details and her surgery and recovery went well. When I got there to drop her off the front desk staff wasn’t there and the doctor assistant I am assuming got her and was great. When I went back in the afternoon front desk staff was different so I am assuming that’s why the experience was better. Adding more starts!
