August 20 · Gerald HowardI had my first visit here this past weekend and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The receptionist, Keyanna, welcomed us with a smile and efficiently gathered all information needed to ensure a smooth appointment. Thank you to Lissie and Teana for listening so intently to my questions and concerns. I felt their genuine care/support and knew that my pet was in great hands. Finally, thank you to Dr. Riggins for his professionalism, honesty and gentleness with my baby Alamo. I am happy to have found a place to fulfill my pet’s needs. Thank you all!!! ❤️
July 07 · Jennifer NunezI am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the poor customer service my mother, Michelle Williams, received during her visit to your Flowery Branch location on April 22, 2025.My mother had an appointment for her dog and inquired whether her dog’s medication could be called into Costco. She was told she would first need to verify with Costco that they carried the medication. After confirming that Costco did, in fact, carry it, she returned the next day and was then informed she would need a hard copy of the prescription to have it filled. This conflicting information was frustrating, especially considering she had asked in advance if the medication could be called in—a process that has been done without issue in the past.Seeking clarity, my mother asked the staff member assisting her, Kiana, if she could speak with a supervisor to better understand the change in procedure. Instead of bringing a supervisor, Kiana returned alone and repeated the same information. When my mother again asked to speak with a supervisor, Kiana rolled her eyes and, in an unprofessional manner, stated loudly enough for my mother to hear, “I always get the difficult customers.”This was both rude and wholly inappropriate. My mother calmly explained that she wasn’t trying to be difficult, but was seeking clarification out of love and respect—for her pet and for your process. Kiana responded dismissively, saying, “I don’t need your love or respect.” Such behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in one where customers are entrusting the well-being of their pets to your care.To make matters worse, after my mother retrieved the hard copy prescription and returned, Kiana delayed assisting her by taking multiple phone calls, leaving her waiting at the counter. The wait was so excessive that another customer began asking about it, which finally prompted Kiana to respond. My mother has been a loyal client of Banfield and has always taken her dog’s care seriously. However, this is not the first negative interaction she has had with Kiana, and she no longer feels comfortable bringing her pet to this location while this employee remains on staff. Her visits should not be met with hostility or disrespect, especially when she is simply seeking information and proper care for her pet.I kindly ask that this matter be investigated and addressed appropriately. Respect, empathy, and professionalism are the foundation of quality care, and no client should feel belittled or dismissed when seeking help.
April 23 · Michaela WilliamsQuality of care has been on the decline. Charged to bandage my pets paw and all they did was throw the bandage supplies in the go home bag. Poor communication. Don’t call providing updates on pets procedure. When I called they said I would receive a call back which never happened. Frequent up-charge for items that really are not necessary.
July 12 · Dawn BentonWorst vet in America. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE OR IT WILL DIE.I had a dog who had been acting unusual, losing weight, and having a hard time walking/jumping all of a sudden. Me and my family brought him here to see what was going on, to which the "doctor" said "he's just getting old, this is normal with dogs this age." I reported that I felt possible tumors on the dog as well, to which again the "DOCTOR" responded with "yes this is normal for dogs his age." For reference, my dog was 10 years old and had acted like he was a puppy up until his last few months of life. He could have been saved had the vet not neglected him. We saw a different doctor, to which she diagnosed my dog with cancer and said that he had an irreparable tumor which had been inhibiting him from walking and jumping properly. Had we caught this sooner and this vet not neglected him, he may have had a few more years. I was willing to spend thousands to save this dog, but they neglected him, his care, and they let him die. Would rate 0 stars if I could. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE.
