★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The most beautiful and caring experience. We had to put our dog down today and everyone was absolutely amazing! The care and compassion they showed was truly beautiful. The vet provided our sweet fur baby with a plate of goodies before helping her cross the rainbow bridge. Definitely recommend!
July 12 · alexandrea zunigaIntake staff were all very kind, hospitable, courteous, and overall 5 star service. Back of the house was a completely different experience.Very unprofessional veterinarian failed to identify my dog's injury after "complete veterinarian examination". Veterinarian exhibited very poor customer service, as did the manager of this establishment, spoke with disrespect and in a very discourteous manner and failed to accept failure of skills and duties as a veterinarian. No wonder original location was shut down. If you love your pet, take them somewhere else!I was appalled at the way the veterinarian spoke to me with such distain and disrespectful tone when I called to let her know my dog, who had been given a clean bill of health was still in pain on our drive home from her emergency visit. The fact that she had me on speakerphone during the call without my knowledge was unprofessional at the very least! When she could not stop herself from interrupting me as I voiced my concerns about the dog's obvious injury/discomfort was not enough. Next the "manager" took over the call and began to admonish me for being upset the veterinarian had done a poor job at her examination and an even poorer job still at her communication with me! I have been a pet ow er since I was 3 years old, but I didn't expect i would be treated as such by those in charge at the WESTWOODS BANFIELD HOSPITAL. The front of the house staff and intake tech were very courteous, caring and treated me with dignity while addressing my concerns with my pet. The OPPOSITE is true with the manager and vet in their mishandling and their absolute lack and disregard for any level of customer service! I will encourage all whom I speak with about this matter to join me in helping this location of Banfield Pet Care to be closed, just as the previous location we used to patronize was. Dollars speak volumes.
April 04 · John LacyStaff is always amazing. Only issue I have was which my dogs recent mass removal. Before we left on a family trip I was given a quote for a dental w/ mass removal of 560ish. When it was actually time for the surgery I was then told 1,000. Then they called again to tell me it would be 1600. And then they called AGAIN to say it'd be 2,000. It was extremely stressful, I had to scramble to find the funds since it was way more than I had planned for. While I appreciate how they care for my pups for routine care, I am reluctant to return for major surgeries now.
May 08 · MousieDr. Cotter and Christopher are wonderful! I have lived in CO for 6 years and seen many vets, Dr. Cotter is by far the most knowledgeable. He is a true Veterinarian that wants to help animals and not just sell you on this or that. My 9 yr old Frenchie has had a dry/flakey nose his entire life and no vet has ever been able to tell me why, Dr. Cotter diagnosed immediately. He knows what he’s doing. Very friendly/helpful staff, highly recommend this location!!
January 17 · Camille BowenI wanted to thank Dr. Hinds and the team at Banfield for their love and compassion in helping us let go of our son, Stealth. We switched our cats to Banfield from Cheshire Cat hospital for a variety of reasons. Dr. Walden is our dog's vet at Banfield and he's wonderful and thorough so I knew our senior cats would be in excellent hands with their new vet. Unfortunately, our son was diagnosed with oral cancer and instead of pushing painful and expensive treatments on us, Dr. Hinds gave us options and in her professional opinion, she recommended palliative care - which is what we really wanted for him. She told us that no matter when we were ready to let him go she would be available. She was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by the suite we got for the process. The front desk technician put a candle out and card for our baby. The day before the appointment, several techs came to say goodbye to him - i was so touched. During his appointment, they gave us all the time we wanted with him through the process. I definitely cried ugly tears but I'm so grateful to our Banfield vet and team for everything they did for our boy. I definitely recommend this place.
