Choosing Baseline Animal Hospital is a decision that can be weighed by a number of factors. While the negative reviews highlight significant issues with communication, pricing, and front office staff professionalism, it is important to consider the potential benefits of the services provided. The reviews themselves mention that some veterinarians and assistants were great and created a "plan of action," suggesting that the clinical staff and care may be of good quality. This is supported by the extensive list of advanced medical services the hospital provides, from CT scans to complex surgeries.
For pet owners seeking a one-stop solution, the combination of an animal hospital, boarding facility, and grooming service is a major advantage. This integrated model can be very convenient for those with busy schedules. The availability of advanced diagnostic tools and surgical options means that your pet can receive a high level of medical care without needing to be referred to another facility for complex issues.
However, the recurring negative feedback regarding unprofessional staff and inconsistent pricing is a serious concern that prospective clients should consider. The reviews mention a "horrible" experience with miscommunication about services and prices, and a front office staff member who "directly lied." These issues, while not a reflection of the veterinary care itself, can significantly impact the customer experience. Ultimately, what is worth choosing is the convenience and extensive medical services, but it is advised that potential clients should be vigilant about confirming all appointment details and pricing in advance to avoid the issues mentioned in the reviews.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went 3x in over a year and all they did was charge me for the vet visit and steroids for my cat. A temporary fix and never tried to diagnose the real underlying issue. Today I just left there and finally got a vet that I enjoyed and her assitant was great as well. They put together a plan of action but the reception lady directly lied to me about the price of the consultation and didn't care when I said I would do the $1k next treatment at another company. This company should fire the front office staff as they are losing business, at least from me.
August 18 · Haraq UllahThis is the worst hospital we’ve ever been to. The staff are extremely unprofessional. We made an appointment a month in advance with the service and price confirmed, but on the day of the appointment, they told us they had scheduled the wrong service and had also raised the price. To make it even worse, they didn’t have the vaccine we specifically booked the appointment for. How ridiculous is that? When we asked for the updated price, they took three days and still hadn’t figured it out by the appointment day. Absolutely the worst staff and the worst animal hospital ever.
June 17 · Katherine XueDon’t come here. I promise your dog will get sick and sicker. They just want your money. Hint: why do I have to stick with the same doctor you have the records to show a different doctor? That’s how it works in main health care. They thought my dog at kennel cough then distemper both of these accusations came out negative but now say my dog has herpes? lol no actual symptoms of showing herpes? I’ve probably spend a little over 1,100 dollars here and now I have to euthanize my dog that’s 1 year old and 3 months, because he can’t function a normal life. thanks baseline animal hospital. You guys sure know what you’re doing lol. P.S 1 of my Rover Rescue consultants also said the same exact thing. “Don’t take your dog here”. She had 2 dogs for simple symptoms and sadly a week or 2 later both of her dogs had died after getting whatever “antibiotics or shots” they gave her dogs. Also she’s been taking her other dogs that’s she’s fostering to Alta Loma animal hospital. My mother also takes her multi poo to that one as well. Hear amazing views. This baseline hospital will make your dog sicker not better. Just wait
August 05 · CvNightHawk30 67I’ve been fostering a French bull dog that was rescued by frenchie united rescue. He was badly neglected. I’ve been taking him to Baseline Animal hospital for all his medical needs. The doctor & his staff are very friendly & helpful. Andrea is very caring & understanding . My foster dog grew to love her. He doesn’t care to go to the vet, but he loves seeing her:) I’m going to start taking my french bull dog to this vet from now on.
September 09 · Alice ChristensenWe have been going here for years. We had two dogs and the people here have always been amazing. Today we had to put down our dog that we had for 13 years. My mom took her and I swear she loved that dog more than anyone in the world. My mom said it was the worst day of her life, but the people at Baseline Animal Hospital had so much compassion and genuinely cared. I am so grateful on how they handled this and I would suggest them to anyone.
