Bond Vet - Upper East Side at 62nd Street Introduce
For many pet owners in New York City, finding a veterinary clinic that offers comprehensive services, convenient scheduling, and a modern, welcoming environment can feel like a search for a needle in a haystack. The traditional model of long waits and impersonal service can add unnecessary stress to an already anxious time, whether it's for a routine check-up or a sudden illness.
This article is a detailed look at Bond Vet - Upper East Side at 62nd Street, a veterinary practice that is redefining the pet care experience in Manhattan. Part of a growing network of clinics, this location is designed to bridge the gap between a traditional primary care vet and a full-scale emergency hospital. It offers a fresh, modern approach to veterinary medicine, focusing on a comfortable, stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. From the moment you walk in, the clinic aims to feel less like a clinical hospital and more like a calming, pet-friendly space.
The core philosophy of Bond Vet is to provide a comprehensive range of services, from wellness and preventative care to urgent medical needs, all in one place. This model caters to the fast-paced lives of New Yorkers, offering same-day appointments and extended hours to ensure that pet owners can get the care they need, when they need it. The clinic’s commitment to a seamless and transparent process is evident in their use of technology, allowing clients to easily schedule visits and access medical records, which is a significant convenience for busy pet parents.
Client feedback highlights the dual nature of Bond Vet's offerings—excellent for certain needs but with some potential downsides. One owner was thrilled with their experience, noting that their puppy's spay surgery was "done with care and expertise" and that the staff was "great." The personal touch of a "Certificate of Bravery" for the puppy made their day, illustrating the compassionate and thoughtful approach of the team. On the other hand, another client, a regular who brings their two cats for annual check-ups, expressed concern over rising prices and what they perceived as a focus on upselling. They felt the doctor spent a significant portion of the visit discussing additional tests, leading to a substantial bill for two healthy cats. This feedback points to the importance of discussing costs and treatment plans upfront and highlights that while the services are modern and convenient, they may come at a premium compared to other clinics.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had my puppy Annabel spayed today at this location by Dr Yoon. We arrived 8:30 am and I picked her up at 1 pm. They were great, and gave puppy a Certificate of Bravery, which made my day! All went smoothly and done with care and expertise. Recommend highly
May 15 · Lynda WigginsI am a regular costumer and I always bring my cats here for checkup- majorly because the place is clean and there is always appointment available. I started noticing the price goes up a lot in our last visit, the annual check up price was something $90 now it’s $130 or $140. With two appointments, the doctor only spent less than 30 mins with my two cats - and most of time she was discussing the price of the check she recommended, and of course everything test is needed and required. In the end I paid $1700 just for annual check ups and vaccine for two healthy cats. I have been to other vet before, but I think this place is most aggressive of selling and the price is definitely on higher side.
June 07 · Jenny ZhouThis clinic is extremely clean; very pleasant environment; amazing staff; nurse and veterinarian caring and attentive to details. Very positive experience. Just transferred my pet’s care to them. Highly recommend it!
July 31 · Ingrid SousaFirstly, I have to apologize to the girl at the reception. I might was rude because of being upset. I’m sorry. We had 2 visits to this clinic. 09/03 and 09/15. Unfortunately my fur baby passed away.I’m thankful to both doctors we have been seen by for explaining everything clearly and correctly. With first advices our kitty was able to live extra 10 days. Also while today’s visit even with such a painful situation, talking to the doctor (I’m sorry I even didn’t ask the name) I was feeling better than all these last hours. And more calm. All the paper work was done very easy today and I’m so thankful for that. For more than 3 months I was the happiest cat-mom with the perfect fur baby. And also both times with emergency situations without scheduling we didn’t have to wait for a long time. Very friendly employees. Everyone.
September 15 · Olha WatsonWe've taken our sweet 15-year old cat, Katie, to Bond Vet on 62nd street a couple times. She had some teeth extracted in 2024 by Dr. Karandikar and recently for drainage of a cyst by Dr. De Koning. The staff are phenomenal and so gentle with her. I have no reservations with recommending the vets or this location to others.
