★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Following a trip to UrgentVet, I called another recommended place. They had no openings, and referred me to Brazos Oaks. This was a completely different veterinary scene than I've ever experienced. Location is an old, beautiful house, with gorgeous views out of plentiful windows. The staff was casual and personable. All of these things combined made for a much less stressful visit. Highly recommend!
April 11 · Rhonda HareI love this place. They take the best care of my fur babies
March 28 · Autumn BruggerLove this place! Their approach is amazing. First, the clinic is in a historic house. This gives a very relaxed, comfortable environment. The exam rooms are large rooms are like rooms in a house (a bit modified, of course). Even though there is an exam table, all my visits have been the vet or techs in a chair or on the floor with my dog. It’s like having a conversation with your neighbor, which greatly relaxes the dog. My dog is large and super skiddish, so I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this approach.A++++ Love this place AND they are VERY affordable!
November 30 · Farrah FawkesI personally had a really awful experience with Dr. Brent Sanders, terrible bedside manner and a complete waste of time. My dog has been having issues and we needed answers, he was given too much of a certain medicine which had not shown any side effects. I acknowledge that this was not the best route to take, but easing his pain was the priority. When it time came for our appointment, we were accused of almost killing our dog and that we would need blood work to find out if there were any damages to his kidneys. We understood, but needed to see how we would get an answer on what tests we needed to find out what was causing his shaking/pain. After getting answers and comments such as “I don’t know, I can’t go back in time” and “If I gave that much to a dog it would’ve died, so your lucky”, we got no answers on what to do. He then proceeded to firmly say “i’m done” and when exiting the door, loudly slammed the door… No one should ever be spoken to or treated like this, completely disrespectful and inappropriate.
August 05 · Sophia LynchOne of the awesome Vets from the old Simonton Vet Clinic that left when the location got bought out. We were looking/hoping for one of them to open their own spot and the prayers were answered. This new location is great and we know our dogs will be well taken care of by all of the staff they have there! They are reasonably priced and don't try to upsell things that other places do. Highly recommend them!
