★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A top of the line experience for vet appointments! Dr. Belock used a calm and positive approach to address the vaccines needed for my dog who dislikes being touched by strangers. We had a successful vet visit and will be back for further training opportunities and visits.
August 19 · Alison RushBefore we came to Dr. Belock, our dog needed to be fully sedated for nail trims and became aggressive with any basic husbandry task or vet procedure. After 4 months of weekly (sometimes bi weekly) private lessons, I am able to trim his nails at home with no sedation. I can also brush and provide other care as needed. We are continuing to work toward preparing for blood draws and vaccinations. In addition to cooperative care training, Dr Belock has mixed in fun and we are working toward our 2nd level of trick dog training. Parker and I both look forward to our visits. We feel so blessed to have Dr. Belock nearby. Highly recommend!
January 21 · Laura JepkemaMy dog had developed behavioral issues “out of nowhere” and turned into having this Jekyll and Hyde personality. After two years of just accepting it because I couldn’t figure out what to do, I found Canine Body & Mind after my dog escalated and started biting when he was having his outbursts. The knowledge Beth has and the training she was able to help me with has been life-changing for myself, my family, and my dog. The behavioral training isn’t cheap, but it was worth every penny for what Beth was able to help me accomplish with my dog. I wish I would have found her at the beginning of his issues! If you are having any kind of behavioral issues with your dog, I can’t recommend Beth enough!
May 14 · AngelaI have taken my lab Benelli to Canine Body and Mind since she was a puppy. We have thoroughly enjoyed every class we've taken. Their fear free and positive approach makes for a great environment for both you and your dog to learn in. Benelli and I especially love Lindsay, one of the many fine trainers at this establishment. We have taken many of her classes which allowed Benelli to earn her CGC and Trick Dog Novice titles. She is currently working on her Trick Dog Intermediate title. I highly recommend!
February 24 · Hannah McKenzieThere are so many good things I can say about this place, e.g. convenient, positive, professional, welcoming... Most importantly, however, I have learned so much about working with my [challenging] dog. I love how easy it is to schedule, the convenient class times and options for private lessons. My dog has plans to continue challenging my knowledge in new/different ways and I look forward to meeting her training needs with the help of Dr. B and company!!
