★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I use Dr. Payton and his staff for routine services on my pets. They are so professional & friendly. I completely trust them with the health & happiness of both my dogs and cat. I recently had to use Dr. Payton’s Euthanasia Services last minute for an elderly family dog of mine, they took such great care of us and my dog was able to pass peacefully no longer in pain from a very recent diagnosis that quickly took a turn for the worst (she was 13). I want to say thank you to them for taking care of me & my pets like we are family. Your generosity & kindness in a situation like that was appreciated beyond words.
April 11 · Stevie VanceDr. Payton is a caring and competent veterinarian. I didn’t give 5 stars for two reasons. It often takes a month to get an appointment. That is too long. Meds ordered at Costco need a paper prescription every time. Renewals can’t be down by phone. This is the first office in 55 years that an office is this restrictive.
July 23 · Ilene ShefferWe will be back. First off, the facility is gorgeous, this was one of the reasons why we made the change. Secondly, the staff is very welcoming. My dog is a very anxious doodle (aren’t they all🤣). I was worried he wouldn’t do well but he did so well and loved the assistant and Dr. Robyn! We will be back like I said! The prices are very reasonable. I don’t mind driving 25 mins past many veterinary offices since we were very pleased and Oakley was treated with so much love.Thank you, Dr. Robyn 💕
October 05 · Samantha LudyWe love Dr Payton and his staff but have had a few concerns. We were given our puppy's Simparica Trio prescription once for a 22# dog. Mistakes happen, glad that I read the dosing on the box and caught the error. When I called, the nurse said it would be fine to give him the higher dosage. I was not at all comfortable with giving a 6# puppy that much extra medicine so another trip to Edwardsburg was required to get the right rx, which is for 5.6 to 11 pound dogs. Our dog was once given a booster shot in another room and was gone for a long time. We were not given a reason when they took the dog. When he was returned I asked why they did the booster elsewhere when his previous shots had been done with us present. The tech said she needed someone to hold him. Ok fine but there were 2 of us attending the appointment and we had held him for his previous shots. He doesn't squirm and is a brave little guy. His shot appointments do seem to take a long time, as sometmes does getting a paper receipt. Hopefully, this is all just growing pains. The clinic is awesome and they room you upon arrival so you aren't dealing with other animals in a common waiting room and the staff makes over all the fur babies, like they're the greatest pet ever. Here's to a long, happy relationship with excellent care!
May 14 · Alexis BasharaMy husband and I have 3 dogs. We have been coming to this office for a year. The Dr is very thorough and makes sure you understand everything before you leave. The staff all treat our dogs with love. Thank you for the wonderful Care you give.
