City Paws Urgent Care Introduce
For pet owners in Oklahoma City and the surrounding region, finding immediate, high-quality, and compassionate veterinary care when your regular clinic is closed can be a source of major stress. This is where **City Paws Urgent Care** steps in as a vital resource for the community. Dedicated specifically to providing **Emergency Veterinarian Service**, City Paws is designed to address those unexpected illnesses or injuries that arise outside of standard business hours, but which do not necessarily require the services of a 24-hour critical care hospital.
The core of their service revolves around prompt and thorough attention for pets experiencing non-life-threatening emergencies. This includes everything from sudden limping or minor lacerations to severe vomiting, diarrhea, or allergic reactions. They fill a crucial gap in the Oklahoma veterinary landscape by offering specialized **Veterinary Urgent Care** and **Veterinary After Hours Care**, ensuring your beloved cat or dog doesn't have to wait until the next business day for a medical assessment. Importantly, client feedback emphasizes that they strive to work within an owner's budget, discussing necessary tests and their associated costs—a practice that builds trust and alleviates financial anxiety during a difficult time.
Customer reviews consistently praise the staff’s kindness and competence. One client noted that they were seen immediately upon arrival for their cat, Harley, and highlighted that the doctor and staff were "very caring and compassionate" and "listen to you." Another customer goes so far as to drive 40 miles, passing four other animal hospitals, because they believe City Paws provides the "best care from the best people" and their focus is not solely on money. This sentiment underscores the clinic's commitment to patient-centered care, where transparency and a genuine love for animals take precedence. Dr. Crabtree and the entire team at City Paws Urgent Care are renowned for their attentive approach, taking the time to discuss the situation, answer questions, and ensure pet parents are fully educated on their baby's condition and treatment plan. This kind of dedicated service is invaluable to Oklahoma residents facing a pet health crisis.
By focusing on urgent, non-critical cases and maintaining transparent pricing policies, City Paws Urgent Care has carved out a unique and highly necessary niche in the Oklahoma City pet healthcare network. They serve as the trusted bridge between routine primary care and full 24-hour emergency room service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We took our kitty Harley there this morning. This is the first time I've ever been there. Dr. Crabtree and the entire staff were amazing 😻. Very caring and compassionate. And they listen to you. We were seen immediately. For an urgent care vet you can't bet the cost and they also understand and will work within your budget! We'll definitely be going back if the need arises! August 17 · Karen Culbert
- Kind, caring, exceptional attention to detail, they truly love animals and it shows in everything they do . They're extremely compassionate to your baby as well as to you and they take time to discuss the situation , answer your questions and do whatever they can to help your baby. Ive never felt like theyre focus was on money, they actually discuss tests and prices and whats absolutely necessary and what could wait . I love the staff, i love the doctor (the little young lady with curly brown hair) Thank God for this place and these people they are 100% the best after hours urgent care in the city and probably the state. I drive 40 miles to get here passing by 4 other animal hospitals on the way because i know she will get the best care from the best people at city paws! July 18 · Rebecca
- Attentive, speedy, kind, professional and overall great service! My kitty had not eaten in days so I brought her in as soon as they opened. The doctor was able to see her right away, gave me reasonably priced recommendations and had medications on hand. This office gets 5 stars! July 19 · Jalinda Simmons
- The entire staff was excellent! Very compassionate, thoughtful and gentle. We had to put our baby down and they offered options, gave us time to talk about it privately and were very supportive and reassuring that we made the right choice. We just didn't feel that our old guy could make it through the surgery of removing that large of a tumor, which had likely metastasized already anyway, not to mention a long and horrible recovery even if we found best cancer circumstances. We are super appreciative of all their care and the nose and paw prints they did, as well as the cremation and urn options. Our baby is home with us again. October 07 · Carrie Wagner
- I have utilized city paws multiple times for my emergency needs for my pets. The first time I had to visit was with my very elderly cat who was in the terminal stages of her life. At the time of the visit there wasn’t much treatment left to pursue for her. We decided to euthanize her as she was only suffering at this point. Dr. Davis was our doctor and she handled the situation with so much care and empathy. She took her time with diagnosing and making a care plan. She allowed us time to spend with her in her last moments and offered words of comfort and support. The second time we visited my dog was panting more than usual and our primary care vet was not doing any further work up, yet we still needed diagnosing and treatment. Dr.Davis was his doctor and she approached this case with a listening ear. She did not dismiss my concerns and spent a great amount of time discussing possible tests and imaging, possible differential diagnosis, and suggestions for further treatment.Dr. Davis makes me feel heard. She has always approached the care of my pets with fresh eyes and eagerness to listen before she strategizes a care plan. I can always rely on city paws for all of my pet worries. The whole care team from RVT to DVM are excellent and deserve all the praise! Thank you to this team! August 05 · Kylie Miller
