★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They handle the normal annual care for my big dogs and this year, 3 emergency care issues. Always friendly and professional. They always try to save me money. I trust the care I get here and that makes all the difference.
July 27 · Dan MaucieriUnfortunately, we had to put our 20 year old kitty down as she was declining rapidly. The staff and Dr. at Canton Vet Clinic were so kind and empathetic. I will never forget what the vet said to me. "Daisy has given your wife and you 20 years of love, and this is your opportunity to gift love back in a way that prevents suffering and pain." He and the staff assured me that it was the right thing to do with her age and condition. Thank you to all at Canton Veterinary for being so compassionate and understanding.
October 24 · Tom SadlerWe took our dog here twice within a week. Both times all they did was examine her mouth, both times they prescribed the same meds over and over saying she’d get better - she didn’t. The next day when she got worse i called them, they told me a doctor would call back asap. We had to call 3 more times as she began to get worse and still never got to talk to the doc. She struggled to breathe and couldn’t stand i called again and all they said was to take my baby to tyler. The doctor didn’t call again until 11am the next day.We tried to bring her to the only vet available an hour away - my baby died as soon as we got into the car. It was preventable, all they had to do was examine and treat her. We paid $400+ to try and save her and all they could do was give me a pill.I beg anyone to not bring their animals here, if they had done their jobs my Luna would still be here with us. I pray you find another vet to do what they couldn’t do for her.
August 08 · Hannah StumboDr. Armstrong is so kind and helpful. She gives exceptional service while providing you with thorough details that are easy to understand. She communicates well and does everything in her power to help your furbaby. I am very grateful for her and her obvious love and passion for animals. One of her assistants, Brittany, has also been such a great help to us, which we are equally impressed with. They are treating and have treated my Chihuahua, Bentlee, with so much gentleness and compasison. They accept walk-in appointments, and I believe it was 9am-11am, or 1pm-3pm, which was so helpful during an emergency. They work diligently to get you in quickly and provide and professional, yet welcoming atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. 10/10 recommend.
June 29 · Cassi BaileyIf i could give a zero I would, my sweet fur baby was undergoing an illness and we came to this clinic in hopes of at least assessing the issue. The nurse that helped gave her a quick examination by squeezing her mouth and saying dogs should not do that and prescribed antibiotics. Fast forward a week after medication was complete, issues were still present, took her in and as before her mouth was checked whilst being held down and still prescribed antibiotics and inflammatory meds. Despite her drooling and lethargy, rabies was the first thought but no proper tests were performed to fully determine other than looking in the mouth. Lastly of this review, my wife had made a phone call to give an update for further check up as my dog was becoming weaker and more sick, she was told that the doctor will give a call back and we’ve never received that phone call. My dog was undergoing symptoms worse than just “something lodged in her throat” or “nerves in her jaw” this past night and I made a phone call to after hours at 6:00 pm as my pet was seen during the 14 day period for emergency care. I was told the doctor would give me a call back “as soon as possible”. Made calls in surrounding areas to ensure a visit to have a check up, while waiting and searching for other options, I had finally received a call from the doctor and totally pushed aside the emergency of pale gums and heavy breathing followed by the same lethargic and weak symptoms to be told BY THE DOCTOR DURING EMERGENCY HOURS “I would take her in to Tyler’s facility if it is an emergency, if not she could be seen in the morning at 8:00 am”. Total disregard of wellness and simply no pride in work with animals or helping a family.
