Carmel Animal Hospital Reviews
Dr Covitz is the absolute best vet you’ll ever find. He came in today even though they were closed because I was concerned about my cat. She ended up having a respiratory infection and he gave her antibiotics and fluids to help her fight it and keep her hydrated, all while on his day off!! He was also the only vet that was able to solve my cats analgland problem out of two other vets that I took her to. This man is a godsend. Don’t hesitate to come here because he genuinely loves these animals!
Jun 07, 2025 · Bianca CarroccettoI took my beloved 18 year old cat to Carmel Animal Hospital and was extremely touched by the compassion. He was very sick. The doctor provided options, but ultimately we knew the right thing to do was end his suffering. It said something to me that a bunch of expensive tests weren’t pushed on me with little chance of a quality of life for our cat. I found them to provide reasonable options, but also realistic in outcomes. The entire staff was kind and supportive. I truly appreciated the way the doctor spoke to my children and gave them time to say their goodbyes. This was an extremely difficult time for our family, and I could not have asked for anything to be done differently.
Apr 08, 2025 · Victoria VincenziWe brought our beautiful dog Carson to Dr. Covitz for the first time last week and sincerely wish we had known of him sooner. His office environment is soothing, calming, and filled with love and compassion. Dr. Covitz is the most amazing, intelligent, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate person/veterinarian we have ever known with a very wonderful sense of humor. He knew exactly how to make Carson feel at home and relaxed, inspired trust from Carson, and treated Carson with love and respect, which not may vets know how to do or take the time to learn. My husband and I are tired of veterinarian offices where the 4-legged animal is treated as simply a $ sign. Dr. Covitz listens to ones concerns, explains everything thoroughly, gives options and , most importantly, he is honest in his assessments. We will never go anywhere else, so take good care of yourself, Dr. Covitz. A special "shout-out" to Mary, a volunteer assistant at the animal hospital, who is one of the most animal knowledgeable , kind, caring, helpful individuals we have ever met. With Love, Carson, Judy, and Jim.
Jun 14, 2025 · Judith Perrin, CFREBy far the most compassionate vet I’ve ever used. He remembers them from previous visits and has an all around great bedside manner. Highly recommend!
May 13, 2025 · K VsomethingThis is a wonderful practice, my pets are always relaxed coming here. Dr Covitz and the staff are so compassionate and really love animals. When I had to put my 14 year old cat to sleep, I can't even tell you how kind everyone was; my sweet girl went so peacefully and gently. I am grateful. I will only ever take my pets here.
