★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1August 5th was one of the hardest days of my life. i lost the dog i’ve had since i was 15 and I’m 26 now. he was very old and declined very quickly. i want to shout out Dak, i believe this is the guy who helped with the whole process. he answered the original call when i wasn’t able to make the call, but a family member of mine did for me. he showed compassion in his eyes as i let my dog go and to be cremated. I told him exactly what i hoped for and having a separate bag of ashes for jewelry to be made of my fur baby. i can’t thank him enough. he did a great job explaining everything and i will never forget his play in the experience.originally i was going to give a lower rating, when i got to the clinic, i called as advised on the signs and a lady named Tawny answered. with my dad as my witness, we both agreed that she was extremely rude and inconsiderate. after i told her that i was told by the family member who called, that my profile was created and it would be smooth and i would be ready to take him in whenever. when I told Tawny this, she said “ well i don’t know who you talked to but it wasn’t me and we don’t have a profile under that name nor an appointment”. This was absolutely not okay and I was already upset about my dog passing, as it was the most traumatic experience i’ve been through and i was up all night crying, as someone who works in a job where you should have compassion, this wasn’t it and i would hate to see someone have that same experience.anyways, thank you to the rest of the team. i appreciate the compassion and the beautiful memorial that i received of my precious pug, poochie.
August 15 · kateSaw Dr. Magrath for my cane corso's growth on his face after coming highly recommended by the Scatter Creek Animal Clinic. I wanted a vet who was compassionate, since he'd only been to a vet one time 6 years ago, and is nervous/anxious around people he doesn't know. She took the time for him to get used to her, didn't rush a thing, and within 5 minute or so he was letting her pet him. If you're looking for a vet like this for your dog, I highly recommend Dr. Macgrath and Chambers Prairie. She made it a comfortable experience for the both of us haha. Big thanks to Scatter Creek for the recommendation. Will bring him and my old staffie girl here from here on out. Oh, and I was able to get in within a week. Another huuuge positive. 10/10.
June 06 · JohnnyI chose this hospital because of its proximity to where I live and I’m new here so I got real lucky because this place has been really easy to work with easy to schedule and always gets my animals back in good condition. I do feel like they might be a little pricier than others and they don’t have a listing of all their prices for the different services down to like a nail trim on their website, but I’m used to them they are convenient, and my pets are always just fine there. So far, no major emergencies besides a split toenail. I’ve had one cat neutered here and was quite shocked at how lethargic they sent him home, but he bounced back in 48 hrs. 4 stars because there is room for improvement.
May 25 · Frances LovePlease excuse my Grammer.....On January 10th, we took our baby girl (Charli) in for a c section. We didn't know that was going to be the last time we would see her alive. It was my understanding that they knew what they were doing. We left her in good hands, so we thought. We drove to home goods to get a basket for the babies. While in home goods, our worst nightmare happened.Chambers called us and said her heart had stopped. The call we received was actually 6 minutes after her heart had stopped. So we flew from Home Goods towards Chambers......As we passed Starbucks on Yelm hwy,We received another call from them asking where we were.We continued to Chambers Prarie Animal Hospital. We arrived, and they had us into the waiting room. Someone walked in and asked us if we wanted them to try to save the Puppies....Do the math..... it was over 20 minutes from the time our baby girls heart had stopped. The thing that is really messed up is the records that we finally received from Chambers didn't match the phone records, and if the records state that they were trying to save the puppies several minutes after Charli's heart has stopped. Why would they ask us if we wanted them to try to save the puppies 20 minutes later.PROGESTERONE Checks!!!!!!!!!If i would have known more about what the levels needed to be.....Charli's level was 9.8 the day before.Do the math. It's supposed to be below a 3.They should have just did a PROGESTERONE check and waited.I know that I can't get my baby girl back.As far as the end result from Chambers, the immediately came in and said they were not going to charge us for the last 3 visits and said they were going to pay for the Cremation, plaques and paw prints. Why did they do that?We went with Chambers based on Reviews. 4.6 is supposed to be good. You can't always go by Reviews.Do your research first.......I would not recommend Chambers Prarie Animal Hospital. Our Charli is gone, and I wish we were not referred to them.
February 19 · Richard TaylorTheir care for the animals is evident. Dr. Harris has been amazing and I’m very grateful to have her as my veterinarian. She was so compassionate and caring during a difficult time when I had to put my cat down - during the pandemic of all times! I will never forget her kindness. My family takes their pets there and I recommend Chambers to anyone who asks.
