★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I called then sent a text to the number in the voicemail. It was easy to get my pet in for an appointment as their sister hospital was booked and I was worried about my pet's health. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. All the staff were so friendly and professional. My dog had actually seen the same doctor before at their sister hospital. I would definitely recommend and go back. Our house is equal distance between both locations. Thank you, again Clover Vet Hospital!
June 13 · Elaine G Irons-HuntI really love this vet. I was suggested to start coming to this location back in 2018 when it was Afford-A-Vet. I was satisfied with them then, and I am even more satisfied now. I recently scheduled my senior cat for a dental appointment and of no fault but my own, I completely missed the drop off check-in time for him. They were EXTREMELY accommodating and kind and simply rescheduled me for a later date, when most vets would have demanded a fee for missing the appointment. I really love how willing they always are to work with me and find the best option. The only minor complaint that I have is that sometimes it is very hard to get them on the phone so I end up calling a multitude of times (and likely annoying the reception) until I can get someone on the phone. Despite that, this vet is great and has great prices. I have never had a bad experience here and would highly recommend them.
May 07 · Isabella FortinThis place has gone to absolute crud. Last visit, it got so absurd, I literally just walked out.First off, Dr. O'Connell was the best vet we ever had. She single handedly saved 2 of our cats, 1 very sick senior, newly diagnosed Diabetic, and another who ingested something foul and got very very ill, requiring IV's and meds. Both cats made full recoveries and the Dr. was always very considerate when it came to treatment costs and necessity tests only, in an effort to keep us from going bankrupt from vet bills.About 6 months after our senior cat was diagnosed Diabetic, I could sense the rumbling of things starting to get stupid.First off, they raised the cost of his needed daily meds 60%. No compromises by Clover corporate, no price matching, no exceptions. - A $600.00+ a year price jack. I was forced to online "couponing" to try and get them at a cost we could sustain indefinitely as there were/are no generics.Second, they started dropping in fill in and substitute doctors with 0 warning or notice. Doctors who knew nothing about our animals and in most cases reliant on a final word from Dr. O'Connell in terms of proper tests and in what order - which could take days to get answers and often required more drives and trips. This went on for about a year.Third, and very recently, they refused to pick up the phone - for TWO STRAIGHT WEEKS. We had a second newly diagnosed Diabetic cat, he needed follow up blood work to see how the RX was doing in his system (a VITAL check) and his second dose of Solensia for arthritis. I called about 10x and texted their "backup" system 4 times with 0 text replies. I got 2 missed call backs about a week apart. The second call back I caught 3 minutes after they left the voicemail. I called back 4x in a row, no pickup. Waited an hour, called again, nada.Day 15 I think? - I finally got someone to pick up the phone. We got him scheduled. More days pass until day OF the appointment, I get a call saying the appointment was cancelled as the technician never showed. We rescheduled soonest available 3 days later. At this point we're 20 DAYS PAST DUE for his needed blood work and Solensia injection. I take him in, and we proceed to wait 50 minutes past the scheduled time for a tech to do a 3 minute blood draw and injection. As a courtesy they waive the tech fee, and knock 10% off the Solensia injection, which was so LATE, the first $100 injection was practically worthless at this point. I should have asked for a full refund of the Solensia, but was too tired to argue.Fourth: It's at this point, talking to the receptionist who also happens to be the new owner, that I'm informed Dr. O'Connell is leaving their practice. Things are suddenly starting to make sense.Fifth, and the clincher, I had scheduled our 3rd cat for her Rabies booster at the time I'd scheduled our 2nd cat for his bloodwork. Weeks of reminder emails and texts from Clover. I show up on time with our cat, and the fill in receptionist acts like she caught something strange on our file and says she needs an exam. "We cannot administer the Rabies booster without an Exam." No mention of this when I scheduled, nothing in the texts or email reminders. I tell her "No, we're here for her scheduled Rabies Booster with your technician, just give her the shot, we'll do the exam on an other day." She goes in back to check with the manager or whatever. More people come in. It's a dead lobby and one lady is like "is anybody here?" Finally, she comes back out, "I'm sorry but we cannot make an exception." I look at her dumbstruck. She then says "Oh, and we're super booked today so we'll just have see if we can get her in to see a doctor."So, no mention of a needed exam, no exceptions to their mistake in never noticing or informing me of this at the time of scheduling weeks prior, no regard for my time, my cat's stress, actually showing up, taking time off work unpaid, and "oh, by the way, you'll just have to sit there indefinitely until maybe, possibly a doctor is free to work you in today."I picked up our cat and left.
August 25 · Benjamin HarwoodThis is the first visit since it changed from Afford-A-Vet. Our service was great. My newly adopted furbaby went in for a check up and everyone was friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend this place!9/25/24 My boy continues to enjoy his visits and highly approves of Clover. He’s a happy pup the entire time and loves the staff. He even approves of the treats during his booster visits. The staff is impressed with his gentle manners and he is equally impressed with theirs. ❤️
September 26 · Christine CourtneySuper grateful for this place! It’s adorable, cozy, clean, and staffed with knowledgeable and loving professionals. The affordability is definitely not a scam - my husky got a full exam and the vaccines he was missing for so much less than I expected. I plan on making Clover my home vet hospital :)
