June 29 · Jamie JensenNot only is the staff extremely helpful and sweet the Doctor that treats my fur baby Lani is so knowledgeable. I never knew bully breeds are allergic to chicken and turkey. Thank you so much!
April 17 · Amber Dawn ParkosLate last year Jax started having a hotspot problem. He started licking himself so aggressively, the hotspot areas on his skin would be licked raw. So we made sure to put him in a cone, and started trying natural solutions for the problem. But nothing was working. So we scheduled him an appointment.Leading up to the appointment we found out from other dog owners who went through the same hotspot problem, that only a steriod shot in some cases can make it go away.Fast forward to the day of the vet appointment March 17th, we saw “veterinarian” Tiffany Pollack at the Animal Clinic of Benson. We explained Jax’s problem. She said it could be the chicken broth in his food, or its flees. So we changed his food again, and made sure the new stuff had 0 chicken anything in the ingredients. As for the flees, we knew we didn’t have flees. We weren’t getting bit, and we give the boys flee stuff pretty regularly. But decided to purchase their flee medication anyways.I’d also like to mention throughout the appointment when Sebastian or I would have a question, Tiffany Pollack would often say “Hold on, i don’t know. I’ll have to look it up.” And pull out her phone numerous times when we had a concern. This was for sure something we thought was odd.. But felt like we needed to trust the process for Jax.As we were wrapping up the appointment, Tiffany Pollack very casually offered to give Jax a steroid shot. (To give context Jax never received any kind of urine, blood, anything test from the clinic. So when she offered the steroid shot, we felt like it had to be safe considering we never got asked for him to be tested prior.) Plus she never disclosed any dangerous side effects that could come from the shot. Just that “He might drink a lot more than usual, and due to that he will need to use the bathroom more. Also he could get a little tired after.”So we agreed to have her give him the shot. When we got home we noticed Jax was acting a little off. He seemed more sleepy usual. We figured it was just a small side effect of the shot, and we’ll just have to see how he does the next day after some rest. The following day he was worse. He didn’t have an appetite for anything, didn’t wanna move, wouldn’t even acknowledge us, didn’t wanna get up, was throwing up stomach acid, and his breathing was off. This was very odd for our Jax. So we called the clinic and asked to speak with Tiffany Pollack. After we told her what was going on. She again said “Ok let me look it up cause I’m not sure what’s going on.” After she googled it she said, “This can happen, it’s not common but can happen to some dogs.” And told us to “Just keep an eye on him. Offer him lots of water. And if he’s laying on his side dying or anything, bring him in.”At this point Sebastian and I were worried. This was the first time she had ever told us that could be a possibility. We were also getting pissed off that she had to keep googling serious concerns to know any information given to us. As Tiffany Pollack had to google lots of things throughout this process. We ended the call with her telling us Jax will be feeling lethargic for a few weeks. As that’s how long the steroid shot will last in his system. The following day Jax seemed to be doing better, but the next day he was back to the same thing.. It was this vicious cycle that kept going back & forth. But we figured we called. We told her his symptoms. And she still didn’t say it was necessary to bring him in, so we’ll just have to keep and eye on him.March 30th came and Sebastian and I both worked. We thought it was just another sick day for him, but he’ll pull through as he has been.. When we got off work we found Jax passed away in his sleep. So much grief & regret has come with Jax’s passing. Tiffany Pollack was highly unknowledgeable and an unprofessional veterinarian at the Animal Clinic of Benson. At this point we just feel like people should know so their dogs aren’t met with the same fate.Rest in peace Jax. We will forever miss you so so much. And don’t see Tiffany Pollack at the Animal Clinic Of Benson.
April 14 · Livi BloomquistThis vet believes in reasonable prices and conservative treatment plans for small animal care. He has saved us money several times in not jumping to expensive treatments we had expected for our older dogs. He is definitely a kind and compassionate man. The staff is very helpful and responsive. You would do well to bring your pets here.
May 06 · Barb KetzelThis is the best caring clinic around. We have had the pleasure of care from both Dr. Lee and Dr. Tiffany. Both doctors are absolutely tremendous for going above and beyond, helping us with services and care for our bulldog. They have taken the time out of their day to look at ingredients on food, research supplements, and try and help us navigate what allergy issues we could be having without having to send us to a dermatologist and spend more money the level of care that they give to our dog is phenomenal so much so that we’ve started taking my mom‘s dog in there who is now had two surgeries at their facility. Trina, the office manager and Amanda will go above and beyond to help us get in. I can call first thing in the morning and without hesitation she will tell me to bring my dog in. We have been to several other clinics with no satisfaction. Here, we get love and care for our dog, great dedication, attention and dedication.I recommended anyone to try here. You will not be disappointed.
