★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- It was a very warm welcome switching to Cotner pet care for my elder dog that was showing some major aging and ailments and 2 others that will be seen soon. All the staff is very compassionate about the care that is given and what is to be expected. I switched from out of town vet to Cotner Pet Care because of the distance I was driving wasn't really worth it anymore. Thank you for making this transition for the two of us so far pretty nice and easy. Also 5/2025The vet tech (missed her name) was amazing with distracting Tiny while Dr Garner was getting biopsies from a little abnormality under his armpit. She loved and doted on him like he was her own.It ALWAYS SMELLS NICE in the clinic, not like many others urine smell. Thank you for being so welcoming all the way around. May 16 · Amanda Horner
- I love this place! So pet friendly and loving! They truly do care about your pets! I only wish they had a clinic for shots so I don't have to pay an office fee for something that is required or have to drive clear north to posh paws for the boys shots or allergy meds. July 28 · Kristin Ondrak
- I picked Cotner Pet Care after adopting a pup from Phoenix Remix Animal Rescue as they had used them for his care prior to adoption. I haven't had a ton of interaction with vets in Lincoln, but highly recommend Cotner. The staff (including the 3 resident cats) are extremely friendly, warm, and easy to work with. Most recently, our dog broke off a chunk of his tooth. They took a same day appointment, got us estimates and had us out the door with pain meds. The biggest reason I recommend them is that their care and treatment of animals is genuinely kind and compassionate. I have heard negative experiences at various vets, groomers, etc. where animals were not treated properly. The peace of mind they provide (whether I'm frantically calling because my dog did something weird or even need a same day appointment) is the cherry on top. I know I can leave my dog there and rest easy that he'll be well-handled and taken care of. He's scheduled for a tooth extraction next week and the biggest thing helping with MY nerves is that the ladies at Cotner will ensure compassionate, ethical care while he's there. Thank you Cotner Pet Care! Lobster Toddy is a patient for life. January 16 · Mekenzie Clover
- We found the staff at Cotner Pet Care to be empathetic and compassionate. They went above and beyond for our bulldog Mack. Dr. Kara Breinin and receptionist Kara were working with Mack the last year of his life. Dr. B spent a generous amount of time creating his treatment plan and making adjustments as needed throughout Mack’s health struggles. When it became apparent that we needed to say goodbye, Dr. B and Kara gave us ample amount of time to grieve in the room and spend our last moments with Mack. They really comforted us during this difficult time, and it was very apparent that they genuinely care for their clients. December 10 · Haze Holtorf
- They took very good care of my Bailey. His ear infection and his toe injuries have healed right up. The doctors method of distraction via peanut butter is fantastic and quite clever. I don't think Bailey had any idea that he was being treated medically... he was just getting treated with peanut butter! Another trip to the vet that didn't cause him to develop a fear of the vets Office! I call that a win! November 19 · Susie Shepherd
