Apr 12, 2025 · Barbara MyersI brought my dog, Peanut in. I couldn't afford, to pay the cost for me to to cover what the bill would be if I had Dr. Harman address certain issues. So Dr.Harman and Michelle ( a tech) made me an offer to address her issues. Michelle also offered to adopt her., at no cost to me. Although, I was totally heartbroken, I agreed. It's a sad state of affairs, when a individual has to resort to that because I work at a low paying job. Dr Harman would not hear of any sort of payment plan.... Meanwhile, a day or two later Peanut was euthanized by Dr.Harman. When I brought Peanut in she was in no danger of any immediate illness. Truly, if the animal hospital had any heart or kindness whatsoever they would of offered Peanut back to me. She very much coul of lived with me. I lost a major love in my life and vice versa . Again, I stress Peanut was not in anything close to perishing. This place should be rated 0 stars. By accident I hit 5 stars. Really, it's a major tragedy in my life, and Peanuts. Awful experience, I wish I never went there ,and had gone to Ridge animal hospital. Just a tide bit of extra information, I brought Peanut in for absolutely immediate non life threatening problems.
Apr 28, 2025 · Jonathan FeinbergDr Harmon needs to really get some self confidence when he is dealing with larger breed dogs.. I've been to this clinic twice and each time he is uneasy and showing anxiety and fear with an animal that is being the best ever... I grow tired of people that stereotype and think that particular breeds will cause them harm... Put your big boy pants on, man up, be professional, and just be an advocate for all walks of 4 legged life instead of " is he gonna be a problem? Can you muzzle him?" ... Pretty bad when the vet tech has way more tenacity and positive ways than you do...we are done with this Dr...
Jun 15, 2025 · GeorgeDown Maine is the best. We have some high maintenance dogs and Down Maine goes above and beyond for our girls. Cookie was a mess until we started seeing Dr Knickerson - awful allergies, getting mast cell tumors removed every month, constantly vomiting. All of those issues have been addressed in our time at Down Maine.
