Mar 30, 2025 · Tim WhiteDO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!! Jan. 28, 2025 I drove 3.5 hours each way and took 4 puppies to East Columbus Veterinary Hospital for ear croppings, but only returned home with 3.. It’s clear that negligence/malpractice took place. 4.5 hrs after I dropped my puppies off, I hadn't received any updates after being promised they would call after each puppy was completed, I called the clinic 4 times w no response back, the “tech” who was also answering phones, checking people in, & apparently also assisting the doctor in the surgeries, finally called me & updated me that “it was just her & the Dr. there today & shes in the O.R” I thought it was strange to only have 2 people there while also needing to simultaneously run a clinic, the surgeries, and somehow also closely monitoring the other puppies that just got out of surgery.. She texted me updating that the last puppy was going in around 4 pm. At 5:10 pm I received a call from them, it was Dr. Washington. He went on to explain that Linke had some complications & after doing CPR did not make it. I was and am completely devastated. I asked him if this could have been prevented & he went on to explain that bloodwork & ECG could have shown this risk, I explained, no one ever gave me the option to do that. I never was presented with any papers or wavers stating the risks of this surgery & I certainly did not sign anything opting out of pre-surgery testing or give them the right to hurt my puppy. I remembered they never asked me for my puppies vaccines even though it is REQUIRED per their policy before undergoing surgery. When I asked Dr.Washington about why they never asked me for proof of their vaccines, he LIED & claimed they called my vet to verify, when i confronted him that they don't even know who my actual vet is, so that would be impossible, he admitted that my vet was never called & they have absolutely 0 proof of vaccines for any of my puppies other than my verbal say so. They also claim they don’t operate on puppies under 9 weeks old, but have all my puppies in their system as 8 weeks old w the incorrect date of birth & the audacity to have my deceased, in their system as a male when she is a female...THERE WAS NO LIABILITY WAVER SIGNED FOR THESE PROCEDURES AND THE “VET” HAD NO RIGHT TO PERFORM SURGERY ON PUPPIES WITHOUT DOING HIS DUE DILIGENCE AND NOW MY PUPPY IS GONE BECAUSE OF PURE NEGLIGENCE. To make matters even worse, when they sent me home with antibiotics and pain pills for the puppies, the paperwork with the dosages and instructions was completely different than the label on the pill bottle, both provided by them…. how careless. They're cold, awful, money hungry people and LIARS. If they had any ounce of integrity or care for the life of the animals, he would have never performed surgeries on them without verifying at bare minimum that they were healthy enough to do so considering he knows absolutely nothing about them as he’s never met us before in his life.1. No it was not offered ever. Also, I very clearly gave you the individual details for each puppy. If you spoke to my vet, which you didn’t, that would be easily confirmed.2. I actually cant believe your clinic is saying they spoke to my vet as if that cant be easily disproved. You have cameras, show me where i ever made a phonecall or handed the phone to anyone. Also your “receptionist”, Ashley Woodrow, claimed to be the veterinary technician assisting on the surgeries, and admitted to being the only other person in the clinic with the Dr.3. Aside from you deeming the dosages “safe” its still unacceptable to provide me with inconsistent paperwork and prescription bottle labels..Update: thats why YOUR insurance company took 100% liability for the negligence which caused the awful loss of my puppy. NO ONE EVER COME HERE, please don't let your baby be the next victim.
