★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I love coming to the Eureka Veterinary Clinic. The staff are so friendly and the office is clean. They will drop everything to help your pet. Dr.daman is one of the best around! We are so blessed to have him as our family vet for over 20 years March 24 · karen sternneor
- They checked our kitty last weekend. They listened to everything I had to say and based their diagnosis off of what I had told them and what he had found during the exam. They gave him a pain shot and some vitamin B to restore his appetite. They also gave us some prescription pet food to feed him to put weight back on. It took about a week, but he started gaining some weight and eating on his own again. I'm glad they took me in that day no one else had any open appointments open. Thanks May 10 · Joe Barr
- I urge anyone considering this veterinary office to think twice before bringing their beloved pet here. My experience was nothing short of traumatic, and no animal or owner should have to endure what we went through. My family brought my 14-year-old dog to Dr. Daman’s office for euthanasia after she suffered multiple strokes and seizures. Our family had made the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully, but what should have been a compassionate farewell turned into an absolute nightmare.Upon arrival, the clinic had a strong, overwhelming odor of fecal matter, setting an immediate red flag. When I placed my dog on the exam table, Dr. Daman insisted on trimming her fur to “find a vein.” He pulled out an outdated, excessively loud pair of clippers, which terrified my dog. As she panicked, he aggressively yanked at her paw, to the point where I had to physically intervene to stop him from hurting her.Realizing how scared she was, we asked if he could provide medication to calm her down. He did administer a sedative, but what followed was even worse. When it came time for the euthanasia injection, he attempted twice to find a vein but failed, growing visibly frustrated. Then, in an act that still haunts me, he forcefully injected the euthanasia solution directly into her chest—something I have never seen or heard of before. My dog suffered for over 10 agonizing minutes, struggling against the medication in a way no pet should ever have to. Eventually, he even suggested giving her an additional dose since it seemed the medication was not working. After she took her final breath, we asked him to check her pulse to confirm her passing. He ignored our requests multiple times until his vet tech prompted him to check. Looking irritated, he removed his hearing aid, briefly listened for a second, and coldly stated, “Yep, she’s gone.”I have no doubt that at one point, Dr. Daman may have been a skilled veterinarian, but now, he is simply too old and detached to properly perform his job. His lack of compassion, patience, and professionalism made an already devastating experience exponentially worse. If you truly love your pet, please reconsider bringing them here. No family should have to endure what we did. March 24 · Sydney stellern
- Dr Damin has been an excellent vet for me for almost 30 years. He saved many of Dogs’s life for me and my horse is probably one of the most well-known vets in St. Louis and all of Eureka. I wish him only the best in the near future and I have appreciated everything he has done for me throughout the years. March 28 · Terry Randall
- This place is disgusting you walk in and there's poop all over the floor. The vet is very rude and brash. He does not know what he's doing. He can't even see when dosing medicine. He needs to retire and get a better bedside manner. I literally walked out of the appointment Because I was so uncomfortable and was afraid they were going to inject my cat with a dirty needle. I would not recommend this place. I don't know how they're still in business March 24 · B. Chesterfield
