Garden State Veterinary Specialists Eatontown Reviews
We can’t thank Garden State Veterinary Services enough for everything they did for Harley and our family. When Harley became seriously ill, the staff showed incredible compassion and urgency from the moment we arrived. After thorough testing, they diagnosed him with a severe kidney infection and kidney stones. Harley was admitted for intensive care, where he stayed for five days receiving round-the-clock monitoring and treatment. The doctors and staff kept us informed every step of the way, calling us frequently to go over all the details of his condition, his progress, and our options. When surgery became necessary to remove the stone blockage, flush out the remaining stones, and clear the infection, they acted quickly and carefully. Their communication, compassion, and expert care made a heartbreaking situation a little easier to bear. Thanks to their dedication, Harley made it through surgery and the serious complications that followed, including aspiration pneumonia.Harley is back to his normal, energetic, and loving self — all because of the incredible team at GSVS.We are forever grateful for everything they did for Harley and for our family.
Apr 29, 2025 · Lexus BreeI over all had a pretty good experience. The only thing I would change would be the amount of front desk staff you have during the night (especially a Saturday). Diane, the front desk liaison was simply stellar. She had so many tasks to do by herself including helping a family going through euthanasia but still stayed professional and helpful. Doctor Harness was also so helpful and such a delight! Very informative and helped me understand what was happening with my dog. Although we were visiting under stressful circumstances, I felt at more ease given all the professionalism and help. Communication about waits times, test costs, and staff. (Puppies included to show our girl feeling better with her sister)
Apr 10, 2025 · Kathleen SliwaWe were seen almost immediately and quickly transferred to the cardiac team for the best level of care. My boy was not in good shape and everyone was so helpful and sweet. All medical concerns were explained and described to me perfectly and I was able to call back the next day for advice and we were immediately seen again without any wait. Just 100% friendly, competetant care across every category.Dr Cusack and the entire cardiac team are amazing. And Dr Palmer for knowing it was cardiac right away and immediately transferring us to the experts. The level of compassion we were treated with was incredible.
Mar 28, 2025 · Jillian DiColaGarden State Veterinary was recommended by our Vet due to the trust and reliability that she encounter with them. Great place to take care of your pets when in need. Very professional, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is super clean and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and attentive. My dog saw Dr. Edelmann couple of times and she and her staff are fantastic. She took care of his issues very smoothly with quick recovery and he couldn’t be happier. Thanks to all the staff for care and what you do.
Feb 17, 2025 · SamOur Baxter fell ill at the end of September/beginning of October. We immediately called around and at the recommendation of someone in a Facebook group, we found Dr Glasser. He was most certainly the best, explaining everything in depth and even was patient with me when I asked the same things again and again. We did CHOP for several months, but just as we neared the end of the protocol, Baxter's lymph nodes swelled again, so we tried a 2nd treatment. This ended up not working out, so we tried a 3rd treatment, but that too only lasted a week or so.At that stage, Baxie's quality of life deteriorated. We saw Dr Glasser a final time on Friday, 04/11/2025 and he gave us some medications for the weekend, but nothing worked and we spent the weekend just making him comfortable and spending time with him.We made the agonizing decision to euthanize him by calling his primary vet, Dr Aziz at Foster Animal Hospital, who came to our house yesterday to perform the procedure. It was heartwrenching, but necessary and he was compassionate throughout.Dr Glasser even called me this morning to express his condolences. He was instrumental in giving Baxter more time to live than he would have gotten and we are extremely grateful to him and his team for all his care, time and effort that he put into helping him.Our hearts are broken, but Dr Glasser helped us throughout this journey and for that we are forever grateful. Thank you so much Dr Glasser, you are the hero we all need, but do not deserve.
