I just have to give a shout out to Dr Smith and the entire team at Parker Creek. I've been using them for the last several years for all three of my pets. My appointments are never rushed and Dr Smith always takes the time to have meaningful discussions with me during my time there. She is gentle when handling my pets and I trust her completely with their care. She performed my dogs neuter and one of my cats dental cleanings and everything went smoothly. Recently one of my cats became ill and unfortunately they were not able to see us. We ended up at another local vet we have used before and also received excellent care. Dr Smith took time out of her day to call me to check on my cat and also go over his test results. It was just so touching for her to reach out on her own time to look after a pet she hadn't been able to see and expressed her genuine concern for his health. I am so thankful for the support and care I have received from Parker Creek and am forever grateful that my pets have such wonderful professionals looking after them.

Dr. Smith makes sure to spend time answering any questions, checking in on everything that’s been going on, and providing input on ways to help your animal be as happy as possible. My dog actually cries in excitement when he gets there because he loves her. The nurses and front desk staff are also so warm and kind. They return any calls or emails promptly. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. We drive 35 min to get there and it is absolutely worth it.

I’ve been through thousands of euthanasia experiences, 9/10 handled with grace and love with the ones responsible to carry it out, but far too often owners of hospitals concerned with making money off this which in my opinion is an abomination! I understand certain costs for things but triple charging and causing even more trauma for the people is not ok! (I recently learned of a hospital who did this to a friend of mine after he spent THOUSANDS, then he was charged almost 2k more for euthanasia cremation etc for his 13 lb dog!!!This occurs mainly in specialty hospitals where I’ve mainly worked all of these years BUT I digress ….this is where I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible Dr smith. After opening up her own practice, I took my beloved Jackson a sable shepherd who let’s just say did NOT enjoy being handled by many let alone going to be examined and was a bit of a scary nightmare despite his shutzhund training that nearly went out the window in these circumstances. Yet he was ALWAYS met with patience, understanding and compassion. Yesterday I had to send our Jackson over the rainbow bridge and the experience was beyond a blessing for not just him, but for myself who had to do it alone. This is how ALL our babies should experience end of life, he went out like a warrior he went out with kindness he went out with love. This is not just a small practice it is staffed with the right kinds of people chosen to heal animals chosen to SEE the families and understand these are not our “pets” they are our family! I am blessed to have been able to provide this for my boy. My kids were not able to be with me as they were in school but knowing he had this experience made them feel just that much better. Thank you Dr smith and her staff for being what Vet Med SHOULD and was meant to be! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice!!
