Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Actually can’t believe the way I was spoken to. Brought my cat who has eyelid agenesis and is being taken care of for so at garden state vet which happy tails clearly knew about as I’ve been with them for years but first time with Dr. Edward’s, for a rash on his neck where he was ripping away fur. She refused to acknowledge the actual problem and laughed saying it was only a small patch and would only allow me to have my cat treated if she was able to do an extra $50 eye exam for something we all already know. I’ve never been talked to by a “professional” like this before and am disgusted. If you have an appointment with Dr. Edward’s cancel it immediately she is an absolutely terrible vet and human being.
May 10, 2025 · Rachel moceikisI can’t leave enough stars about this business! Dr. Rovere is a special human being. From day one of us switching to this vet we have been so happy. Dr. Rovere really takes her time with the animals and takes the time to explain everything. She genuinely cares and her knowledge shines through. Her staff is always so friendly and helpful. They do not overcharge or recommend unnecessary expenses. Thank you so much for your care! Clyde says thank you! 🐾
Feb 12, 2024 · Brittany CerratoWanted to love my experience here but that was not the case..I was skeptical after the first visit for shots quick and $300 but decided to use them to remove a mass that Chloe had in between her paw. Surgery went fine except Dr Rovere told me my dog turned blue during surgery and didn’t know why but she “saved her life” Chloe was sent home without a cone which I paid for when I reviewed my estimate and then next morning she woke up crying and she bite her bandage off. I panicked and drove to the vet at 8am for them to help me give both pain and antibiotic they send me home to get my medicine. Only for the vet to come in and offer liquid injection antibiotics I said how much it was $90 which I agreed because I had a hard time getting it down my 10lb dogs throat. Upon check out I get charged another $55 for another bandage and $11 for medical waste which they didn’t even dispose of anything. I felt taken advantage of after giving them $1000 in cash the day before and $276 for pre op blood work.. like come on I’m a hairstylist if my client needed a little more off her bangs a week later I wouldn’t charge them!! I called the vet shady and she got upset..she has now banned me which I really wasn’t going to go back anyway but the dog has stitches that need to be removed and she refuses to take them out. Felt they really don’t care about the clients just the money. Like I said Shady!!! Try and get a price an exact price for a procedure guarantee vet or staff can’t answer that lol!!! And then hundreds of dollars later..place sucks!! Sent home no cone but my fault she ate off her bandage..
Dec 07, 2023 · Darlene PentimoneI truly cannot say enough great things about Happy Tails. I've been coming here for a few years now since they literally saved my cats life. Our family has grown, taking on two more dogs and now this is the only place I'll bring each of my pets. The veterinarians and the techs, and even the front desk associates genuinely love and care for your animals, they have so much compassion for them and truly treat them as if they are their own. Each and every veterinarian is so passionate and dedicated to this field and they will do whatever they can to help out and will squeeze you in if their crazy day has the room. I drive 40 minutes each way but will continue to make the drive because there is no one else i'd trust my pets with! Its so hard to find good people who really care these days and its so reassuring knowing that they still exist, and they are all conveniently located under one roof at Happy Tails. They all deserve so much more credit than they get. 1000000 stars out of 10! We love you guys!!
Oct 30, 2024 · Amanda DaddarioDr. Rovere is an angel! We took our cat Simba to Garden State Vet on Saturday 12/17 and was told he would need a foreign body removal surgery and were referred to Dr. Rovere by another doctor at GSV. We called their office late Saturday afternoon who called us back quickly and told us Dr. Rovere would do Simba's surgery the following morning 12/18 even though she wasn't supposed to be there! Simba is now 2 weeks post op and recovering beautifully! We couldn't thank her and the staff at Happy Tails enough!!
