Glenolden Animal Hospital Reviews
On 4/25/25, I brought my Lilly aka Lillybear in for her Cytopoint allergy shot injection to Glenolden Animal Hospital on MacDade Blvd., Glenolden, Delaware County, PA. Lilly is my 16 year old Bichon Frise, and coincidentally, we were there this time on her 16th birthday! Veterinary Technician Scott came to get Lilly, and boy does she love Scott! Scott was his usual kind and down to earth self, asking how she was doing, how I was, if I had any concerns and if Lilly had any issues they should know about. Always staying on top of her care, yet being genuine in seeing how we were in general too. That little bit goes a long way, at least to me. Scott is just one example of the staff at GAH always being a pleasure to deal with and being on top of their game. Everyone there, are such amazing caring people individuals. Kim McN., Christy, Dr. Cameron, just to name a few, I genuinely love these people. They've like family to me for the love and support through the years they've given to me and Lilly. And there are so many more I just can't remember all the names. GAH haw taken such good care of my baby, I couldn't ask for more, especially now, as she is getting up there in years. I highly recommend GAH to everyone in need of veterinary care for their beloved family members of the four legged and wjnged, scaled, horned etc. kind lol. Thanks for reading that long winded but true and from the heart submission!Mark Torchia💕🐩🐾🦴l💕
Apr 29, 2025 · Mark T.I had to put my family dog to sleep today, the pictures are her when I got her, her in January and her 3 weeks before we had to put her to sleep. They were kind and compassionate, they tried to help her 3 weeks ago with medication but the cancer was so aggressive she declined so quickly it was the right thing to do. They took us into a comfortable room, gave us all the time we needed and I could see they felt our pain. This is exactly the vet you want when making an end of life decision. The nurse and Doctor were amazing and I cannot thank them enough. I loved that dog in a way I’ve never loved another animal and they treated Nala like one of their own. Thank you to all the staff from the front desk to the Doctor. We got her cremated after putting her down and I will bring all my animals here from now on. Thank you.
Apr 24, 2025 · John DreyerVery accommodating and very nice. They took us the same day for a stray check so we could take her into our home without endangering our pets. The stray gave birth to 6 little ones and is doing great. They really care. Thank you!
Apr 14, 2025 · Kimberly OConnellThis was the most upsetting experience!! I took my cat there and she was clearly suffering. The vet dismissed my EVERY concern. She told me that she thought my cat was in heat which she showed absolutely NO symptoms of. They offered her medicine, the ONLY help they offered. When I paid the bill and got home I realized they had changed the receipt and took the medicine off the list. The only thing I went home with was flea medicine and my cat does NOT have fleas. I paid $125 to be forced to pay for a rabies vaccine and my concerns to be ignored. When I got home I called the vet to ask what happened to the medicine. The receptionist rudely cut me off and talked over me. She tried to make it seem like there was a "miscommunication" of why I didn't receive the medicine. I asked her why would I reject the ONLY help they offered my cat? I was told the vet was in surgery and would call back around 3pm. At 7:30 before they closed for the day I had to call back because they didn't even have the decency to call back. I have never been somewhere so cold and cruel. They do not care for your animals!!! Such a disgrace!
Jun 17, 2025 · Sheri PetrucciDr. Cameron, Piper, and the entire team at Glenolden have always been kind, patient, and caring with my chronically problematic dachshund and I (an anxious dog mom). My persistent questions and concerns are always answered, and I truly can’t thank them enough for the quality of care they’ve provided. I would trust them 100% !!
