★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I initially had a very positive experience when my sick cat was seen and cared for, and everything went smoothly. That alone would have earned them five stars. When I could not get the ear medication the same day i said I would come back Monday they said, “Monday is perfect and they are open on Monday.” But alternative Saturday times. On Monday at 10:00 a.m., I called the office—no answer. I left a message but never received a return call. From 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon, I continued calling back-to-back, still with no response. At 12:00 p.m., I came in person and found a sign on the door that said they would be back at “8,” but it did not specify a.m. or p.m. Since this was midday, the assumption would be 8 p.m., which makes no sense considering the business closes at 6.- Photos.Even allowing for a standard lunch break between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m., by 1:30 p.m. no one had returned. At 2:30 p.m., I checked again after what should have been the end of their lunch hour, and the office was still closed. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable—especially when pet owners are rearranging their work schedules and, more importantly, when an animal is waiting for care. After rescheduling two meetings and making multiple trips, I have decided I will not return. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing, particularly while my cat remains sick.2nd photo-Since the clinic was not open as scheduled, I went to Banfield, which was open during their posted hours. Their team reviewed my receipt from GoodVets and was surprised to see that an ear examination had been conducted without identifying the presence of ear mites. Banfield confirmed that my cat does, in fact, have ear mites—despite GoodVets stating otherwise.I also raised my concern regarding discharge from my cat’s eye and asked that it be examined. GoodVets said it maybe related to the ear infection…. Banfield determined that the discharge was not related to the ear infection, but instead a result of feline herpesvirus (FHV-1), which is very common in young cats. This condition is typically harmless and often resolves as the cat matures, though flare-ups can be triggered by stress. However, in some cases, it can worsen and potentially harm the eye.As a result, Banfield prescribed Famciclovir to treat the condition the discharge was getting worse and the kittens eye was flaring up badly. It is concerning that both the ear mites and the FHV-1 diagnosis were overlooked by GoodVets, especially given that these are common, treatable issues. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poorly on the quality of care provided by GoodVets.
August 19 · Charmin GeorgeI really enjoy taking my pet here. I always receive amazing customer service and the kind and welcoming environment if the office created by all the staff. Following a recent procedure for my pet I received multiple calls from the Veterinarian and Nurses updating me on his condition. It was comforting to know my pet was with people who care about his wellbeing.
August 20 · the Onyx GirlTook my girl in for her first vet visit. Dr. McMillan and Nurse Jalyn were so nice—she loved Jalyn (gave her all the treats.) The office is CLEAN and beautifully designed. The receptionists are lovely as well. I’ll definitely be bringing Palmer back for all her veterinary needs. So glad I found a Black veterinarian in the area for my child! 😩😩
May 30 · CassandraAmazing service! The receptionists were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was spotless and well-maintained. The doctor was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining everything. They also offer a wellness plan with a monthly fee, which is definitely worth it compared to pricing at other locations. My puppy PJ’s tail never stopped wagging—he was so happy!
May 30 · Tiffany BradleyStaff is very Friendly and Really take good care of my Fur baby. I really felt comfortable and they were also attentive and hopeful. Thank you All!!
