Highland Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I highly recommend Highland Veterinary Hospital.Schedule Availability: The staff was very attentive, and their flexibility was a big reason I decided to go with them. Other vets I contacted in Maryland were either unresponsive or didn’t make any effort to fit us in for our puppy’s first-week checkup. But Highland understood we had a new puppy and got us in right away, which was a huge relief. I’m glad they did because we learned our puppy tested positive for a few issues.Front Desk Staff: Everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful. They’re great about explaining things and are flexible with scheduling. I never feel rushed, and the office doesn’t seem overbooked or crowded, which is a nice change from other places. The Doctor: The vet is very personable and caring. He even has his own dog that greeted us! He not only provided great care for our puppy but also gave us tips on trimming and grooming to help prevent health problems, which was really helpful. My 11-year-old daughter thought he was funny and really nice—she even said she wished he could be her doctor! All in all, we’re very happy with Highland Veterinary Hospital. If you’re looking for a local vet that’s personal and caring, I definitely recommend them.”
Nov 01, 2024 · Kevin L.Absolutely love the veterinarians!! Incredible staff!! Our 13 year old cat had vomiting issues and they worked hard to figure out the cause. They are so professional and caring. Their due diligence was incredible. I will never go anywhere else. If I could give more stars I would!!
May 08, 2025 · Mark ChristiansonExcellent team of veterinarians, vet nurse, and vet techs!! They have really helped our 13 year old cat with vomiting issues. Spent a lot of time figuring out a treatment plan. Our cat has improved tremendously!!
May 09, 2025 · Mardith BuyerWe are new to the practice and have been there twice ... once with each of our Boston Terriers. They were awesome in every facet! We don’t live real close, and pass numerous vets to get there, but they are worth it. Dublin (our recently rescued boy) had a corneal abrasion that was diagnosed and treated. He was then back to his peppy self in a matter of hours! I also feel their rates are fair and not inflated. Thank you to Dr John and the gang.
Apr 02, 2022 · Ray WalshI LOOOOVE HIGHLAND VET!!!! I wish i could give a hundred stars!! Not only are they super affordable but the vets and receptionists are so kind and amazing at their job! I have four kittens and my old vet was really rough with the way he handled them but Dr.Gary is the best vet i’ve ever had and he is so gentle and quick with them! I would recommend this vet to every person in the world!!!
