Jeglum K Ann DVM Reviews
I happened to be looking through these reviews and this has been a long time coming.I used her for my cat with a tumor more than 10 years ago. From the reviews here I see she hasn't changed much.Money was never an issue for me.,, her personality or shall i say lack of, and her money grubbing office was the issue for me.They knew from day one this cat would never survive yet they gave me false hope, not only did they get a ton of money from me, my cat suffered horribly. All the while as long as I kept paying they kept going.I'm not saying many cancers in animals aren't treatable if not curable but I think we as pet owners want to believe there is hope and we trust vets in general to guide us. Sometimes we have to go with our own instincts and ALWAYS get a second or even third opinion.
May 16, 2024 · Lee Ann CohenDr Jeglum gave my sweet boy over a year of great quality life after his cancer was diagnosed. If not for her, Dr Carol & the staff, his prognosis was grim. He lost his battle this week & Dr Carol helped him cross the Rainbow Bridge with so much love. I can't thank them enough for all they did for Crowley
Dec 08, 2023 · Deb DephillipoPrepare for them to hook a vacuum cleaner to your wallet . Kept cat alive for about 7 months and he suffered the whole time from the "Kemo" pills. After charging me thousands they had the nerve to call me at home ant tell me they forgot to charge me for a few pills and demanded my credit card. Spent more in 2 months than what they said the treatment would cost. Think hard ..its a tough decision...If it has cancer it likely won't make it anyway. Your choice. God forbid if i didn't pay the $2 for a pill after paying thousands.
Oct 18, 2023 · joe beermasterI would definitely recommend Dr. Ann Jeglum and her entire staff. We took our Golden Retriever Toby there when he was about 3 years old with Stage 4 Bone Cancer in his front leg. My husband and I were heart broken. Toby saved my life when I choked on an apple in 2007. he was 2007 ASPCA Dog of the Year. He was also in every magazine including People and several TV show . Including David Letterman, Today Good Morning America. I will never forget our amazing first visit , when we met Dr Jeglum and her staff. She came up with a treatment plan for Toby. Toby went into remission . Our Toby lived another 10 years. Cancer Free . The entire staff became part of our family , we love them all. I
Jan 17, 2019 · Debra ParkhurstI am having a hard time believing all of the positive reviews with VOSRC and Dr. Jeglum, after 3 months of bringing my dog with a GI lymphoma for weekly chemo treatments. Despite spending more than $5000 and 10 visits (with an hour drive each way so you understand how dedicated I am to this), I have probably had a total 20 minutes of actual phone/face time with Jeglum. She has a terrible curt bedside manner as others have observed, and she doesn't give you any time to ask questions - it's always "we'll talk later" and there is no sense of empathy or compassion for what you're going through with your beloved companion.Dr. Jeglum told me at the beginning after a bunch of expensive tests my dog's prognosis was great if we used her protocol, so based on that I put my dog through months of tests and chemo treatments (with expected but unpleasant side effects). However VOSRC's latest follow-up ultrasound suggests his tumor probably hasn't shrunk at all (but they can't be sure because the $400 imaging was"inconclusive"). And now she wants me to sign up for another protocol with 5 continuous days of IV treatments that I'm sure will cost another $1k+ followed by yet more imaging and tests. More painful treatments for my dog to endure after a 5 minute one-sided discussion with Jeglum, which will provide many more $$$ for VOSRC.I'm very disappointed at the way this has gone - there are of course no predictable results with cancer but I feel like my wallet was the most important factor here, and I think I'll pass on ringing the register for more profits for VOSRC.
