- We got lucky on our timing when looking for a puppy and found this litter on dogfinder here, and we fell in love immediately! They've got some great deals if you continue to vet with them, so we look forward to doing just that! The place is run very well and the staff is incredibly friendly. January 01 · Nicholas Wood
- Dr. Smith has assembled a friendly, professional, caring staff who put the animals in their care above everything else. Impeccably clean, convenient hours and location, Jewell Animal Hospital provides the best care possible for all our fur babies. February 24 · Sandra Akley
- I absolutely love this vet office. My boyfriend and I have been bringing our two dogs here for almost 10 years. They are always compassionate and understanding. I’d recommend Dr. Smith to anyone. October 24 · Holly G
- These so-called "professionals" killed my cat. I trusted them with her life, and less than THREE days later she was DEAD. They refuse to explain WHY they thought it would be a good idea to give a cat with a DOCUMENTED HEART CONDITION A STEROID MEDICATION. and their only defense was to attack me and accuse me of being negligent for being ONE DAY LATE to an appointment.None of the risks were discussed with me beforehand, nor was ANY reason given as to why they thought she needed that medicine. To make matters worse, they even instructed me to FORCE the medicine down her throat, the rationale being that she needed the medicine and was too weak to resist getting it manually.Stupid me, trying to be a good kitty parent, fell for it hook, line, and sinker. I fed her the steroids manually as they said, and guess what? Sunday morning, as I was feeding her the medicine, she literally keeled over and died, most likely of a heart attack. If had not brought her to Jewell Animal Hospital, she would not have been subjected to either the medications or the administration of it which caused her to literally, out of nowhere, keel over and die. To add insult to injury, they even refused to refund the $50 in medication that I paid for on Friday but that didn't even keep my cat alive over the weekend. Also to quote an earlier review, Dr. Smith appears to hate cats, and was extremely rude and condescending towards me when I brought my cat in for help.I would not recommend trusting this establishment with your pet's life.
