Jun 06, 2025 · GabriellaI have been bringing my kitty here for the past two years and I have to say, this is the best vet I have ever been to. My cat hates going to the vet and is very spicy with the staff; previously, he hardly got full exams and shots were always difficult. At Frederick Cat Vet, we have been able to have very successful visits (sedation is key) and I always walk away feeling great about the visit as a whole. The receptionists and assistants are so friendly and helpful and you can tell the doctors really care about their patients and want to make every visit as stress free as possible. Today, we were seen by Dr. Karg and he was the absolute best! He carefully combed through my kitty’s history and current symptoms and offered very helpful advice for things to do at home to keep him happy and healthy. To top things off, this is an affordable office that also has prescription food and helpful items at such great prices! I seriously cannot recommend this office enough and if you’ve had terrible visits at other offices, please give this office a try.
May 24, 2025 · Michelle AxtJust got my cat home from his visit at Frederick Cat Vet. I just adopted him and was worried about the staffs safety bringing him in as it was recorded that he gets a little spicy at the vet.Everyone there was amazing! No spicy behavior from him, in fact he started purring during his exam. They were compassionate and did several things to help my cat stay calm. They gave me great advice on how to help some of the issues he’s been dealing with and have a good plan in place to help him improve his health. As an owner, the vet talked to me in ways that was very clear to understand, without coming off as condescending. She was wonderful working with.If you plan on taking your cat there, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to ask about costs. I’m not sure how they compare to the area, and it was well worth the cost! Just it was more than I expected. So for a budgeting sake, it’s worth checking out. Also, bought him a catnip pillow as a treat for being a good patient. Frederick Cat Vet, you have another cat that approves of your new supplier.
Mar 05, 2024 · Lauren HiettDr. Wolkind is the most compassionate and knowledgeable vet I’ve ever had the fortune to have care for my pets. I have had two cats as patients, and she was nothing but understanding, resourceful, and quite frankly incredible with any temperament of cat. Anyone would be lucky to come to this practice. Their prices are affordable, and their staff is incredibly kind to top it off. They’re the only practice I’ll ever trust with my kitties.
Jul 30, 2024 · Harriet HarrisI love this practice! Dr. Wolkind, and the other male veterinarian (We saw him once and I forgot his name) and the staff are amazing, friendly, comforting and treat your kitty like there own! They are the best. I took my Zoey to another vet that was closer and I wasn't fond of the staff so I will drive to Frederick Cat vet to be treated with care, concern and respect for my sweet Zoey. They are always so gentle with her and sweet. Thank you Frederick Cat vet for all you do. Zoey and I appreciate all of you!!! 😻😻
