Just Cats Veterinary Clinic Reviews
I've been using this clinic for over a decade for my kitties. The Guilderland office is my home base, but the Saratoga location is also nice. They work with you, and your baby to find the best solutions to problems and issues quickly. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone on the staff; from the Radiologists, to the Vet Techs, to the Veterinarians(especially Dr. TT), as well as the Support Staff, Receptionists and the Amazing Erika!! Everyone goes above and beyond at both locations, to help make sure your cat is taken care of - specially and attentively each time. They also do not scruff!! So important!! This is the only place, hands down, that I trust with my cats care. Not to mention they have the most handsome office kitty as well 🐾
Apr 17, 2025 · AllieI absolutely love this vet! They really put every bit of effort into finding out what is going on with your cat. My senior kitty has been going through some ups and downs recently. Being 18 years young, it is to be expected. But all the Doctors have been so wonderful with him and I really could not be more happy that I chose them to be his vet. Dr. Bergin came out of her way, after a very busy procedure day mind you, to bring my cat his much needed medicine. I cannot explain how much that meant to me. She has a beautiful soul and the biggest heart. Dr. Peterson has also gone above and beyond. I highly recommend Just for Cats (both locations), if you are looking for a team who will treat your cat like family. ❤️
Jun 05, 2025 · Andrea MckainThey are wonderful. My dear cat is more important to me than almost anything this world has to offer and I really trust them with her. We got some scary information and then great and relieving news from them today, and I am glad we were there to receive both.
Dec 07, 2024 · Ry Book SuraskiWe were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We were brought into a room right away so our stressed out cat could be let out and roam around. We are always weary because we've had horrible experiences where we had to wait with our scared cat for over an hour after our appointment to be seen by the doctor. Dr. Petersen and Nicole came in right away and were so friendly and wonderful to our Lily. You could tell that they really care and were so gentle. Dr. Petersen talked us through every part of her examination and showed how empathetic she was. We were relieved that we could leave their with the necessary medicine to make our fur baby better. On the way home we were both in amazement at how great the experience was and how quickly we were seen and could get our Lily home. We even received a summary email about the visit within a couple hours. Extremely thankful!
Jan 24, 2025 · Tania SterlingBEST experience I've ever had with healthcare, including human doctors. A+++++++!! I will never take a cat anywhere else!!!!I called when they opened with a stray cat, and I wasn't established with them yet. The receptionist was very friendly and already had seen the email I'd sent over the weekend. Because the cat was sick, they got me in THAT SAME MORNING -- and when I got there, THREE people walked into the room: a doctor, an assistant, and another doctor who I think was shadowing because she wanted experience with ear mites. In the photo, you can see them doing a blood draw: one person is holding the cat, one person is holding the razor, and one person is feeding the cat a treat to keep her distracted. Even though I was a last minute appointment, they managed to gather a whole team! I look at this photo, and see my cat surrounded with care. Nobody was fumbling from a lack of hands.I felt like all three people were genuinely concerned about doing what was best for my cat, including drawing the line on not doing too much to her on her first vet experience so she doesn't develop vet trauma. For example, they thought from the way she was acting that shaving to check for spay scars would be too much for her on top of the blood draw and vaccines, but then when she was cool with having her leg shaved for the blood draw, they felt they could get away with shaving her tummy and it went fine. My point is, they really read the cat and thought carefully on how to balance care with a non-traumatizing experience. They also seemed to recommend only what the cat needed and nothing more. I didn't feel like they tried to upsell me or create unnecessary appointments. I planned to return for a spay, and they suggested deferring the microchip (which I asked for) and feline leukemia vaccine until then-- to put less stress on the cat on the first visit and to avoid unnecessary cost before blood tests came back.I also felt like nobody rushed, and in fact was surprised that they seemed to have all the time in the world for the cat and all my questions. This took longer than a human doctor visit. The doctor in charge was there for more than 15 minutes, and when she left to hand me off to the assistants, she told me so and invited me to ask her any remaining questions before she left. I wound up thinking of questions after she left, and each time, the assistant went and asked her. After the visit, I received an email that the doctor wrote personally, explaining the test results and asking how my cat was doing.Everyone, from the receptionist to the doctor, were patient, kind, reassuring, and professional. I will not trust my cat with anyone else. My little fur person deserves only the best, and I'm so grateful that I found it.
