Lake Animal Hospital Reviews
Every veterinarian is so knowledgeable and really cares about your best friend. I've been taking my cats and dogs to them for years. Somehow, they always know your baby after meeting them just once. The staff is pleasant and really helpful. Highly encourage everyone to at least try once to see if it's a good fit. I've consistently had great care and compassion for all my animals. I appreciate all of the people who work here, and so do my fur children.
May 24, 2025 · TabiI have brought my cat in twice now here and they are so friendly! My cat is very anxious and Dr. Bowsman was so good with her and understood my concerns.Their prices are not so bad either! Besides smelling like a nursing home, this place is so great with my kitty.
Jul 03, 2025 · Gwen SheppardI’ve been taking my 9-year-old cat to Lake Animal Hospital ever since he was a kitten, and I’ve consistently been impressed and very pleased with the service and care that Dr. Wolf and his staff provide. I truly feel fortunate to have found them. Aside from the outstanding care, this clinic is quick to get in and out of, and I’ve never had to wait long for an appointment. And on three separate emergency occasions where my cat stopped eating, they were able to get me in either the same day or the following day. They literally have been a life-saver for me and my kitty. I would highly recommend.
Jan 28, 2025 · Heather ClarkI'm dumbfounded by how poorly we were treated by the staff here yesterday. My wife's family has been taking their dogs to Lake Animal for over 20+ years and recommended them to us immediately when we brought our Basset Hound puppy home on Sunday. We called Lake Animal Monday night to try and schedule an appointment for our pup because of a terrible cough he suddenly developed. The secretary my wife spoke to on the phone said that they wouldn't take us until July and that we needed to make a $60 deposit beforehand. She said that she didn't care if our family was active patients with them and it didn't matter if this was an emergency request, they would not see us until July. This morning his cough got worse and he began to wheeze, so we called another vet and they are taking us this afternoon at 4pm.Evidently they don't have your animals' best interests in mind if they are blowing off emergency calls that other vets push us ahead for. We will not be revisiting them for any reason after this.
May 06, 2025 · Josh DavisonTook my dog here for the first time because she was having some sort of episodes and I didn’t know what they were. I had a video to show just in case it didn’t happen while my dog was there. They said she was having seizures. I have spoken with many people and they told me when they took their dogs in for seizures they were given meds and their dog is good just as long as they’re on the meds. This place gave us nothing. They told us to go home and monitor the seizures. I refused to do that because seizures are not good so we demanded blood work. After blood work they sent us home. With nothing, we rushed her to the ER because there was no longer gaps between them but she just continuously having one, by the time we got there, it was too late. Her temp was 110° and too much damage had been done so we had to put her down. So thank you so much lake animal hospital for charging us $400 for you to give her nothing and help with nothing but watch a video and telling us to take my animal home to pretty much watch her die!
